And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allâh. Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. (Qur’an 2:281)

On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His Punishment) and Allâh is full of Kindness to the (His) slaves. (Qur’an 3:30)

And whether you die, or are killed, verily, unto Allâh you shall be gathered. (Qur’an 3:158)

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). (Qur’an 3:185)

On that day those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will wish that they were buried in the earth, but they will never be able to hide a single fact from Allâh. (Qur’an 4:42)

For every news there is a fact, i.e. for everything there is an appointed term (and it is also said that for every deed there is a recompense) and you will come to know. (Qur’an 6:67)

It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), and has knowledge of all that you have done by day, then he raises (wakes) you up again that a term appointed (your life period) be fulfilled, then in the end unto Him will be your return. Then He will inform you what you used to do. (Qur’an 6:60)

He is the Irresistible, Supreme over His slaves, and He sends guardians (angels guarding and writing all of one’s good and bad deeds) over you, until when death approaches one of you, Our Messengers (angel of death and his assistants) take his soul, and they never neglect their duty. (Qur’an 6:61)

Then they (His slaves) are returned to Allâh, their Maulâ [True Master (God), the Just Lord (to reward them)]. Surely, His is the judgement and He is the Swiftest in taking account. (Qur’an 6:62)

It is He Who has created the heavens and the earth in truth, and on the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) He will say: “Be!”, – and it shall become. His Word is the truth. His will be the dominion on the Day when the trumpet will be blown. All¬Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the All¬Wise, Well-Aware (of all things). (Qur’an 6:73)

And on the Day when He will gather them (all) together (and say): “O you assembly of jinns! Many did you mislead of men,” and their Auliyâ’ (friends and helpers, etc.) amongst men will say: “Our Lord! We benefited one from the other, but now we have reached our appointed term which You did appoint for us.” He will say: “The Fire be your dwelling¬place, you will dwell therein forever, except as Allâh may will. Certainly your Lord is All¬Wise, All¬Knowing.” (Qur’an 6:128)

Surely, that which you are promised will verily come to pass, and you cannot escape. (Qur’an 6:134)

Then surely, We shall question those (people) to whom it (the Book) was sent and verily, We shall question the Messengers. (Qur’an 7:6)

“Who took their religion as an amusement and play, and the life of the world deceived them.” So this Day We shall forget them as they forgot their meeting of this Day, and as they used to reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). (Qur’an 7:51)

They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): “When will be its appointed time?” Say: “The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden.” They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: “The knowledge thereof is with Allâh (Alone) but most of mankind know not.” (Qur’an 7:187)

In the end you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, then He (Allâh) will inform you of what you used to do.” (Qur’an 9:94)

And say (O Muhammad SAW) “Do deeds! Allâh will see your deeds, and (so will) His Messenger and the believers. And you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then He will inform you of what you used to do.” (Qur’an 9:105)

To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of Allâh is true. It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling fluids and painful torment because they used to disbelieve. (Qur’an 10:4)

There! Every person will know (exactly) what (all) he had earned before, and they will be brought back to Allâh, their rightful Lord (Maula), and their invented false deities will vanish from them. (Qur’an 10:30)

Is it then, that when it has actually befallen, that you will believe in it? What! Now (you believe)? And you used (aforetime) to hasten it on!” (Qur’an 10:51)

And they ask you to inform them (saying): “Is it true (i.e. the torment and the establishment of the Hour; the Day of Resurrection)?” Say: “Yes! By my Lord! It is the very truth! and you cannot escape from it!” (Qur’an 10:53)

No doubt, surely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allâh. No doubt, surely, Allâh’s Promise is true. But most of them know not. (Qur’an 10:55)

And Shaitân (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: “Verily, Allâh promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, so you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allâh (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).”(Qur’an 14:22)

And warn mankind of the Day when the torment will come unto them; then the wrong-doers will say: “Our Lord! Respite us for a little while, we will answer Your Call and follow the Messengers!” (It will be said): “Had you not sworn aforetime that you would not leave (the world for the Hereafter). (Qur’an 14:44)

The Event, ordained by Allâh will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. (Qur’an 16:1)

(Remember) the Day when every person will come up pleading for himself, and every one will be paid in full for what he did (good or evil, belief or disbelief in the life of this world) and they will not be dealt with unjustly. (Qur’an 16:111)

(It will be said to him): “Read your book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day.” (Qur’an 17:14)

And they say: “When we are bones and fragments (destroyed), should we really be resurrected (to be) a new creation?” Say,”Be you stones or iron, or some created thing that is yet greater (or harder) in your breasts (thoughts to be resurrected, even then you shall be resurrected)” Then, they will say: “Who shall bring us back (to life)?” Say: “He Who created you first!” Then, they will shake their heads at you and say: “When will that be ?” Say: “Perhaps it is near! (Qur’an 17 :49-51)

On the Day when He will call you, and you will answer (His Call) with (words of) His Praise and Obedience, and you will think that you have stayed (in this world) but a little while! (Qur’an 17:52)

Your Lord knows you best, if He will, He will have mercy on you, or if He will, He will punish you. (Qur’an 17:54)

And he whom Allâh guides, he is led aright; but he whom He sends astray for such you will find no Auliyâ’ (helpers and protectors, etc.), besides Him, and We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire. (Qur’an 17:97)

And the Book (one’s Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allâh), and you will see the Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: “Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!” And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice. (Qur’an 18:49)

Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? “Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! (Qur’an 18:103-104)

They are those who deny the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight. (Qur’an 18:105)

“But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur’ân nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.” He will say:”O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before).” (Allâh) will say: “Like this, Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allâh’s Mercy).” (Qur’an 20:124-126)

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away. (Qur’an 21:1)

(on that Day) They (the believers) speak not until He has spoken, and they act on His Command. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they cannot intercede except for him with whom He is pleased. And they stand in awe for fear of Him. (Qur’an 21:27-28)

And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. (Qur’an 21:104)

The Day you shall see it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling, and every pregnant one will drop her load, and you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken, but severe will be the Torment of Allâh. (Qur’an 22:2)

And among men is he who disputes about Allâh, without knowledge or guidance, or a Book giving light (from Allâh), Bending his neck in pride[] (far astray from the Path of Allâh), and leading (others) too (far) astray from the Path of Allâh. For him there is disgrace in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall make him taste the torment of burning (Fire). (Qur’an 22:8-9)

After that, surely, you will die. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. (Qur’an 23:15-16)

(In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: “O my Lord! send me back (to life). “In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected.” – “By no means! It is but a word he says; and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. (Qur’an 23:99-100)

The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, Except him who brings to Allâh a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifâq (hypocrisy)]. And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqûn (pious – see V.2:2). (Qur’an 26:88-90)

So set you your face to (the obedience of Allâh, your Lord) the straight and right religion (Islâmic Monotheism), before there comes from Allâh a Day which none can avert it. On that Day men shall be divided. (Qur’an 30:43)

Whosoever disbelieves will suffer from his disbelief, and whosoever does righteous good deeds (by practising Islâmic Monotheism), then such will prepare a good place (in Paradise) for themselves (and will be saved by Allâh from His Torment). (Qur’an 30:44)

And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: “Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allâh, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not.” (Qur’an 30:56)

So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong, nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allâh’s Pleasure. (Qur’an 30:57)

The creation of you all and the resurrection of you all are only as (the creation and resurrection of) a single person. Verily, Allâh is AllHearer, AllSeer. (Qur’an 31:28)

O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah. (Qur’an 31:33)

And if you only could see when the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): “Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty.” (Qur’an 32:12)

Say: “Our Lord will assemble us all together (on the Day of Resurrection), then He will judge between us with truth. And He is the (Most Trustworthy) All Knowing Judge.” (Qur’an 34:26)

If you disbelieve, then verily, Allâh is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being sincere believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, so He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is the All-Knower of that which is in (men’s) breasts. (Qur’an 39:7)

So worship what you like besides Him. Say: “The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!” (Qur’an 39:15)

And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and they will be encircled by that which they used to mock at! (Qur’an 39:48)

Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allâh (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? (Qur’an 39:59-60)

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allâh, when He will come to judge among men) and the Book will be placed (open) and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged. (Qur’an 39:69)

And among His Signs (in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, (He) is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things. (Qur’an 41:39)

Say (to them): “Allâh gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not.” (Qur’an 45:26)

This, because you took the revelations of Allâh (this Qur’ân) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yustâ’tabûn (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allâh, and beg His Pardon for their sins). (Qur’an 45:35)

And who is more astray than one who invokes besides Allah, such as will not answer him to the Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their call (to them)? (Qur’an 46:5)

And you shall be sorted out into three classes. Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand; What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). (Qur’an 56:7-10)

And Allâh grants respite to none when his appointed time (death) comes. And Allâh is All-Aware of what you do. (Qur’an 63:11)

Those are limits set by Allah. and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul…(Qur’an 65:1)

They (the disbelievers) will further say: “Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!” (Qur’an 67:10)

And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: “Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me! “And that I had never realised how my account (stood)! “Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me! “Of no profit to me has been my wealth! “My power has perished from me!” (Qur’an 69:25-29)

And indeed it (this Qur’ân) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). (Qur’an 69:50)

The sinner’s desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children, His wife and his brother, His kindred who sheltered him, And all, all that is on earth,- so it could deliver him: By no means! for it would be the Fire of Hell! (Qur’an 70:12-15)

So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. (Qur’an 70:42)

Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! (Qur’an 70:44)

“What has caused you to enter Hell?” They will say: “We were not of those who used to offer their Salât (prayers) “Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); “And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allâh hated) with vain talkers. “And we used to belie the Day of Recompense “Until there came to us (the death) that is certain.” (Qur’an 74:42)

Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. (Qur’an 75:5)

Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). (Qur’an 75:10-15)

Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! Then in what statement after this (the Qur’ân) will they believe? (Qur’an 77:49-50)

The Day that the Spirit (Jibril [Gabriel])and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right. (Qur’an 78:38)

That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)! (Qur’an 78:39)

Verily, We have warned you of a near torment, the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: “Woe to me! Would that I were dust!” (Qur’an 78:40)

The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see, Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, And had preferred the life of this world, The Abode will be Hell-Fire. (Qur’an 79:35-39)

The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. (Qur’an 79:46)

Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islâmic Monotheism). Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; Darkness will cover them, Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). (Qur’an 80:37-42)

(Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. (Qur’an 81:14)

(Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). (Qur’an 82:5)

Woe, that Day, to those that deny, Those that deny the Day of Judgment. (Qur’an 83:10-11)

Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell. Further, it will be said to them: “This is the (reality) which you rejected as false! (Qur’an 83:16-17)

It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). (Qur’an 85:13)

(Other) faces that Day will be joyful, Pleased with their striving, In a Garden on high. (Qur’an 88:8-10)

Verily, to Us will be their return; Then verily, for Us will be their reckoning. (Qur’an 88:25-26)

He (the disbeliever) will say: “Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!” (Qur’an 89:24)

But those who reject Our Signs, they are the (unhappy) Companions of the Left Hand. (Qur’an 90:19)

Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? Is not Allâh the Best of judges? (Qur’an 95:7-8)

That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. (Qur’an 99:6)
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. (Qur’an 99:7-8)

Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! (Qur’an 102:8)
