Qatar-Israel Relations

From:

Qatar is an Arab country which lies on a small peninsula in the Persian Gulf, and despite its small size, the name of Qatar is being heard globally, because of their economic and touristic achievements, and its role on the International scene in the Middle East and the world. It’s also characterized by harboring Al-Jazeera News Network.
A lot of writers talked about the relationship between Qatar and Israel, since Qatar was one of the first Gulf States to have formal relations with Israel. And that led Qatar to be the target of many Arabs who accused Qatar of treason and all the other titles that we Arabs call others once we feel they are not serving our interests anymore.
From my personal perspective, each country should seek to serve its own interests exclusively and in a rational manner free of emotions. Since mixing politics and emotions, is like mixing religion with politics, can only cause disasters. While completely rational decisions are often correct, since they are taken according to reality, and not based on emotions or feelings (religious or other).
Based on that, I think Qatar has sought and seeks for its own interests as a state and to serve its people and their well-being, and Qatar is not supposed or required to support anyone else’s idea against others, because political relations are based on numbers and facts, and not on whims or animosities. And it’s not the right of anyone who isn’t from Qatar to criticize how that country runs its own foreign policies.
Qatar believes that the relationship with Israel would bring them benefits probably they can’t achieve without that relationship, and felt that such benefits are necessary for them in order to achieve more success as a sovereign state. Plus, time proved that the policy of total provincial of the other party hasn’t and will not solve anything at all. Because without any contact, there will be no understanding or affinity, and that’s what people want, the people I mentioned in a previous Arabic articles, which feed on hatred and wars and don’t want it to stop.
A lot of other Arab states must learn from Qatar, on how to put the interests of the country and the state first. Countries where people don’t have freedom of expression, while their government is calling for the freedom of other nations, and countries where its own people face extreme poverty, and the country donates millions of dollars to terrorist organizations in the name of “funding the resistance”, and so on. While they all should stop funding terrorism and focus on building their own countries, and stop teaching kids at school the culture of hate.
We as Muslims and Arabs need to stop thinking that we are the center of the universe, and only what we think is right should be applied and that we can call someone or some country a “traitors” for simply seeking their own interest, and taking decisions according to wise thinking, not to emotional thinking. And personally, I think Qatar is behaving wisely, and I hope they won’t lose that, and that more Arab countries would do the same.

Blogger comment:
It is about the survival of the regimes not their people or Islam or Arab. Israel control America and America has the power to change regimes. Thus it is about the survival and luxury of the regimes. How many times I tried to have Al Jazzera interview me about my Taman Health Plan and they never answered me back as per the orders of their masters Israel and America. Do you really think that the Arab tyrants want you to know that I am Al Mahdi Al Muntazer.
