Some Verses about Denial in the Quran

1- Denial of the truth is not new:
6:5 And they denied the truth when it came unto them. But there will come unto them the tidings of that which they used to deride. فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ (6:5) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

2- The prophets were asked to be patient, until God brings his victory:
6:34 Messengers indeed have been denied before thee, and they were patient under the denial and the persecution till Our succour reached them. There is none to alter the decisions of Allah. Already there hath reached thee (somewhat) of the tidings of the messengers (We sent before).
وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَى مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّى أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا وَلاَ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ وَلَقدْ جَاءكَ مِن نَّبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ (6:34) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

3- Muhammad is not responsible if they deny the truth, as well other prophets:
6:66 Thy people (O Muhammad) have denied it, though it is the Truth. Say: I am not put in charge of you. وَكَذَّبَ بِهِ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ قُل لَّسْتُ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ (6:66) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

4- When the prophets despaired because of their denial God came out with his victory:
12:110 Till, when the messengers despaired and thought that they were denied, then came unto them Our help, and whom We would was saved. And our wrath cannot be warded from the guilty. حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَيْأَسَ الرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ كُذِبُواْ جَاءهُمْ نَصْرُنَا فَنُجِّيَ مَن نَّشَاء وَلاَ يُرَدُّ بَأْسُنَا عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ (12:110) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

5- A famous example is the people of Noah: God drowned them.
7:64 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our token. Lo! they were blind folk. فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَوْماً عَمِينَ (7:64) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

6- Same with the people of prophet Hud: God cut their roots.
7:72 And We saved him and those with him by a mercy from Us, and We cut the root of those who denied Our revelations and were not believers. فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ (7:72) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

7- Same with the people of prophet Shueyb:
7:92 Those who denied Shueyb became as though they had not dwelt there. Those who denied Shueyb, they were the losers. الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْاْ فِيهَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَانُواْ هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ (7:92) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

8- Their denial is even predetermined: thus even before the prophets come with more proofs or scripture their heart denied them. Many times related to jealousy or evil in their hearts.
7:101 Such were the townships. We relate some tidings of them unto thee (Muhammad). Their messengers verily came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they could not believe because they had before denied. Thus doth Allah print upon the hearts of disbelievers (that they hear not). تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَىَ قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ (7:101) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

10:39 Nay, but they denied that, the knowledge whereof they could not compass, and whereof the interpretation (in events) hath not yet come unto them. Even so did those before them deny. Then see what was the consequence for the wrongdoers! بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ (10:39) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

9- The astonishing thing the more the evidences the more the denial: as happened with Pharaoh and his people Moses showed them miracle after miracle.
7:136 Therefore We took retribution from them; therefore We drowned them in the sea: because they denied Our revelations and were heedless of them. فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ (7:136) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

10- Their denial is injustice from them to their souls:
7:177 Evil as an example are the folk who denied Our revelations, and were wont to wrong themselves. سَاء مَثَلاً الْقَوْمُ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَأَنفُسَهُمْ كَانُواْ يَظْلِمُونَ (7:177) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi
