Chapter 23: The Believers (some Verses 1-25)

23:1 Successful indeed are the believers قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ (23:1) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:2 Who are humble in their prayers, الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ (23:2) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:3 And who shun vain conversation, وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ (23:3) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:4 And who are payers of the poor dueوَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ (23:4) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:5 And who guard their modesty وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ (23:5) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:6 Save from their wives or the (slaves that Islam then liberated) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, إِلَّا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ (23:6) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:7 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors, فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاء ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ (23:7) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:8 And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ (23:8) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:9 And who pay heed to their prayers. وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ (23:9) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:10 These are the أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ (23:10) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:11 Who will inherit Paradise: There they will abide. الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (23:11) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:12 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن سُلَالَةٍ مِّن طِينٍ (23:12) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:13 Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاهُ نُطْفَةً فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ (23:13) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:14 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of Creators! ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَامًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاهُ خَلْقًا آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ (23:14) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:15 Then lo! after that ye surely die. ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ (23:15) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:16 Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ (23:16) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:17 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. -
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ (23:17) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:18 And We send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are able to withdraw itوَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّا عَلَى ذَهَابٍ بِهِ لَقَادِرُونَ (23:18) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:19 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; فَأَنشَأْنَا لَكُم بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ لَّكُمْ فِيهَا فَوَاكِهُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ (23:19) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:20 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيْنَاء تَنبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْآكِلِينَ (23:20) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:21 And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat; وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ (23:21) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:22 And on them and on the ship ye are carried. وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ (23:22) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:23 And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other god save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ (23:23) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:24 But the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: This is only a mortal like you who would make himself superior to you. Had Allah willed, He surely could have sent down angels. We heard not of this in the case of our fathers of old. فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ (23:24) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi

23:25 He is only a man in whom is a madness, so watch him for a while. إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا بِهِ حَتَّى حِينٍ (23:25) Baset - Hussari - Minshawi
