Before the second coming of Jesus there will be a man who will get the earth ready to the second coming. It will be a period of tribulation he really will not have a fun job to do. It will be very exciting time for the transition of a new era but dangerous second to the wrath of God in humans for rejecting his path and the teachings of the great prophet Jesus (PBUH). There is big difference between Jesus and Al Mahdi that they should not even be compared but to correct people misunderstandings particularly Christians I will mention the differences:
- Jesus is a great prophet, Al Mahdi is an ordinary Muslim but God sees in him what the people do not see.
- Jesus is almost sinless, Al Mahdi has his sins and his goods, nothing major here or there.
- Jesus sent with the Gospels that recorded, though less perfectly, Al Mahdi is not bringing any revelation, though he would have good plans to the world and have good understanding of the religion of Islam.
- Jesus is mentioned in the Quran by name 25 times, Al Mahdi is not in the Quran but few hadith.
- Jesus is of the top most suffered prophets of God: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Al Mahdi is even less in place than the 4 great Khalif that followed prophet Muhammad.
- Jesus is a prophet since his birth, Al Mahdi would not be even aware for long time or sure for short time that he is chosen until God would have his way to have people have faith in him.
- Jesus 's mother is the real first lady to all true believers, Al Mahdi mother is an ordinary Muslim woman.
- Al Mahdi function ends as Jesus descend to the earth, if even he lives to see this great prophet. If he is a life he is very likely will go back to live the quite simple life he loves most.
So the false interpretation of some Christians that he is the Anti-Christ or the evil guy who is possessed by Satan and he will fight Jesus as he descend from heaven are fantasy. Come on who will fight a prophet descending from heaven with angels. The rupture is not that the good Christians will fly up to meet Jesus in the air, but very likely Christians will willingly convert to Islam, no compulsion in faith. Wake up guys reconsider prophecies.
