The Stand of the Jews against Christ

God-be exalted- said in the Quran, chapter 4: 155-159
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بَآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الأَنْبِيَاء بِغَيْرِ حَقًّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً . وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا . وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاَّ اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا . بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا . وَإِن مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلاَّ لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا
The explanation: (155-Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their denial of the signs of God, and their slaying the prophets wrongfully, and their saying: “Our hearts are surrounded with covers (1)" Not so, but God has sealed upon them because of their blasphemy, so that they will not believe except a few [of them.]
156-And because of: that they [again] unbelieved [in Jesus], and that they uttered against Mary [, his mother,] a grave false charge.
157-And [because of] their saying [in a way of boasting]: “We slew the Messiah [the Christ] Jesus, son of Mary, the apostle of God”;--But they did not slay him, nor crucified him, but a similitude was made for them, and those who differ therein are full of doubt thereof, with no [certain] knowledge, but only conjecture to follow; they slew him not for certain.
158-But God raised him up to Him; God is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
159-And there shall be none of the People of the Scripture(2) but shall believe in him before his death(3); and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;--)
[(1) i.e. so that we do not understand what you are saying, O Mohammed!
(2) i.e. Jews and Christians.
(3)i.e. that he was not crucified, and that he was seen alive, three days after the event (when they crucified a man similar to him.) When a period of time passed after that event, he died at his hour of appointment, and his soul ascended to heaven, to the paradises, in the neighborhood of his Lord.]

And God-be exalted- said in the Quran, chapter 61: 6-8
وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِن بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمَّا جَاءهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ . وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَى إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ . يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ
The explanation: (6-And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel, I am, indeed, God’s messenger to you, confirming [the Ten Commandments of] the Law that was before me, and giving you glad tidings of a messenger who shall come after me, whose name shall be “Ahmed [: the Praised One.]” But when he brought to them the manifest miracles, they said: “This is a manifest sorcery.”
7-And who does greater wrong than he who forges falsehood against God [by claiming to Him daughters and a son], when he is invited to the Islam [which brings about his safety], and God guides not the wrongdoing people.
8-They desire to extinguish the light of God [: the Quran] with [the words of] their mouths, but God will complete [revealing] His light however much the unbelievers are averse.)
God-be exalted- said in the Quran, chapter 5: 78-79
لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ . كَانُواْ لاَ يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَن مُّنكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ
The explanation: (78-Cursed were the unbelievers 0f the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and Jesus: Mary’s son; that was because they rebelled and used to transgress [on the prophets of God.]
79-Nor did they [: the Children of Israel] forbid one another the iniquities which they committed; evil, indeed, were the deeds which they did.)

Blogger comment:
I agree with the Pope in relieving the Jews from the stigma of killing of Jesus (for Muslims their attempt to kill him) since a lot of Jews did not participate in the crime or were bystanders. Though I do not recall some of them stood with Christ except for the apostles. Even though at certain times they feared for their lives. This just tell you how strong is the kingdom of Satan with in its top some of the Jews and non-Jews including Muslims. Particularly so the king of Saudi and many other Muslims tyrants.
