7:158 (Picktall) Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all--(the messenger of) Him unto whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no God save Him. He quickeneth and He giveth death. So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His words and follow him that haply ye may be led aright.

Explanation:
God in many verses in Quran switch from talking to us through talking to Muhammad to talking directly to us. He as well talk to all of us through talking to a certain group: Muslims, Jews, Christians, prophets, angles and so on. In fact it is in all one speech to all of humans and Jinn either directly to all of us or through he may choose to speak to. God as well is talking to us by telling or narrating to us in many of the verses. Thus in all it is a dual speech by talking to someone or some group or through telling us like a narrator of a story. Thus this above verse can be divided into three component: A- God talk to us through Muhammad. B- God is telling us facts. C- He then talk to us directly.
The amazing thing you do not get lost, the composition of the language is firm and the transition is smooth. The meanings are great and in small confinement, not compact or crowded and you do not need to struggle to extract the meanings.

A- 7:158 (Picktall) Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all--(the messenger of)
B- Him unto whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no God save Him. He quickeneth and He giveth death.
C- So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His words and follow him that haply ye may be led aright.
