Good News: the Kingdom of God has Come to Earth

"I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose." (Jesus as quoted by Luke 4:43)

"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news." (Jesus as quoted by Mark 1:15)

"And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations." (Jesus as quoted by Matthew 24:14)

From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent for the Kingdom of heaven has come near." ... Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom. (Jesus as quoted by Matthew 4:17,23)

"This then is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'" (Jesus as quoted by Matthew 6:9-10)

"The kingdom of God is not coming with things that can be observed; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or 'There it is!' For, in fact, the kingdom of God is among you." (Jesus as quoted by Luke 17:20b-21)

"But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come to you." (Jesus as quoted by Luke 11:20)

"Whenever you enter a town and its people welcome you, eat what is set before you; cure the sick who are there, and say to them 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'" (Jesus as quoted by Luke 10:8-9)

"My kingdom is not from this world." (Jesus as quoted by John 18:36)

Yes! Jesus came to earth. Yes! the Kingdom of God has come to earth! Devoted followers of Jesus Christ hold citizenship in two kingdoms: The Kingdom of this World where the Prince of the Power of the Air (Satan, evil) rules, and The Kingdom of God where Jesus Christ, God, the creator and sustainer of the Universe rules. Another way to look at this is we live in the already and in the not yet at the same time.
