7:146 I shall turn away from My revelations

7:146 I shall turn away from My revelations those who magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth, and if they see each token believe it not, and if they see the way of righteousness choose it not for (their) way, and if they see the way of error choose it for (their) way. That is because they deny Our revelations and are used to disregard them.

سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ آيَاتِيَ الَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الرُّشْدِ لاَ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ (7:146)


God mention in this verse that he will turn away form his signs and revelations those who are:

1- magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth,

2- and if they see each token believe it not,

3- and if they see the way of righteousness choose it not for (their) way,

4- and if they see the way of error choose it for (their) way.

5- That is because they deny Our revelations and are used to disregard them

Compare those with the Muslims who submit to God:

1- They humble themselves.

2- They see the signs of God and believe in it as the creation, the inner desire to connect with God, good and evil....

3-They submit to the righteous way of God.

4- They avoid the way of errors and sins.

5- They submit to God 's revelations and regard them highly.

Though the process of belief require our intellect it depends in large part on our humility and hearts. Thus God guide those who are humble and sincere to believe and make their hearts open to Islam and those who are arrogant and close their hearts God harden their hearts more.

39:22 Is he whose bosom Allah hath expanded for the surrender (unto Him), so that he followeth a light from His Lord, (as he who disbelieveth)? Then woe unto those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah. Such are in plain error. أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ فَهُوَ عَلَى نُورٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ أُوْلَئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ (39:22)
