My Gut Feeling: There is No Coming Terrorist Attack In America.

By: Maged Taman

The Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is a respected judge and a fine man. A post like that in one of the Muslim world will be held by a police officer who is allowed to torture people for decades particularly political opposition. He will be well trusted and close to the tyrants.

The secretary has a gut feeling, which for many of us mean unconfirmed or weak intelligence, or you can call it something in the air. I do not think personally there is a strong intelligence. I doubt that Muslim extremists are behind the 9/11 attacks. I do not think they would come here unless America would do something very stimulating to them like attacking Iran. At that time we will see all radicals Sunnah and Shia united and Arab regimes toppled down in days. Moderates will very likely either will radicalize or support the radicals in many seen and unseen ways. The Anti-Israel rhetoric will rise very high and the area will say to peace BY BY.

I think a lot of the area will cool it down until president Bush term will end. There is about one year or so left and for the reasons of the 2008 presidential election neither the Democrat nor the republic will let him come up with a major political reform. An attack in Iran will not unite us and will lead to our division more and the world will unite against us. You saw the Russian-Chinese military training recently, they became concerned of unpredictable policies.

I keep calling for the Arab, Muslims and all parties in the area to find a solution to Iraq, not because we love American policies but for the sake of us all, particularly the innocent lives that are lost in Iraq everyday. Unfortunately no one listen to me particularly in the west for most people I am just another guy in the web. Contrary to what is the west think Imam Mahdi will not rise when the people are looking to fight but he will rise when they are sincerely longing for peace. God will give us what we desire in our hearts and this is true for all parties.

So far ,and as long as keeping a republican president in the White House is not in jeopardy , don't expect :
1)any major terrorist attack in the US ..

2)Any appearance by one Osama BinLaden on Al-jazeera TV 3 days before the next election , applying his/their reverse psychology on swing-state voters to go red .

Sorry, I can not read the extremists. We should not give them much attention. I think they thought they would balance the power of the three major structures oppressing us in the Arab/Muslim world. But they do not understand the difference between power and force. They do not know how to intimidate people without intimidating them. Before 9/11 I sent to one of famous news magazine about the injustices that we suffer in the Arab/Muslim world a letter to publish. Very likely they threw it in the trash, they thought that I am very kind to send that letter. I was simply fool. The tyrants were very good for them they are evil to their people and nice to the west. We are moderate Muslims have the power to change the world along with many good Christians and Jewish people if we to play very smart politics. I beleive much of God great role, how can you expect the world will change form tyrnnay and injustice to justice and equality withour a major role of God in world affairs.

There is some conspiracy theories in the web. I personally has my own suspecion of governments. The Arab-Israeli conflict was a good play that we were drown for for many decades. Do you remember Muhammad Ali (ben Hamida) when I used to talk to him about politics when we were young and he would say his famous saying "laymni ala alfaka" or as they say in English whow me the money. It is about rich guys in power that wants the public to get busy with some conflict while they are enjoying their power and money. The public should wake up everywhere and see what is in their best interest. The other new story is the rupture they want Chrsitians to spend their money to foster wars in the Middle East so Jesus can come before the war of Armagaddon. The propject is in fact very earthy to continue to keep the players they like in power and the military industry complex continue to make more money. The irony is people who would have real plans to the people of the world would be smeared as anitchrists. However a lot of Christians will wake up and understand these politics as we are walking up in the middle east to understand the reality of the Isreal-Palastinian conflict.
