WHEN GOD'S SUCCOUR comes, and victory,

110:1 WHEN GOD'S SUCCOUR comes, and victory,

110:2 and thou seest people enter God's religion in hosts,

110:3 extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory, and praise Him, and seek His forgiveness: for, behold, He is ever an acceptor of repentance.

In this simple 3 verses Sura God abbreviated the victory of Muslims. Muhammad went back to Mecca with 10,000 Muslims and overwhelmed the disbelievers and he had victory with no war. He did not revenge for 12 years of persecution or 3 attack wars on Muslims. He did not kill or torture the oppressors like usually happen in human history. He let them go and many of them became good Muslims. The Arabs even outside Mecca felt the sincerity of Islam and its truthfulness. In this epic of victory and glory God wants his messenger to be humble and as a real prophet (unlike a king or a conquer) he tells him to praise his God and ask him forgiveness.
