1. Mark 12:29 Jesus said "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." [This confirms that Jesus preached to worship One and Only God, not trinity.

2. John 20:17 Jesus said I ascend to my God and your God. [Jesus has a God according to him; we know that God can’t have a God?]

3. John 8:28 Jesus said, "I do nothing of myself” [Can a God be this dependant?]

4. John 14:28 Jesus said, "My Father (GOD) is greater than I am" [So, how can Jesus himself be a God?]

5. Luke 23:46 Jesus said "Father (GOD), into thy hands I commend my spirit" [God does not have spirit like Jesus did.]

6. Matthew 24:36 Jesus told his followers that no one (including Jesus) knows when the judgment day will come, only GOD knows. [Or Jesus was lying to his followers, if he was God?]

7. John 5:30 Jesus told his followers that he couldn’t do a single thing of his own. [When a God became this helpless?]

8. John 5:32 Jesus told his followers that they have never seen GOD at anytime nor ever heard his voice. [Or Jesus was lying again here, if he was God?]

9. Luke 5:16 Jesus prays to God. [Funny, if Jesus was God, then why he is praying to God? Since when and how a God has a God?

10. Matthew 26:39 Jesus fell on his face and prayed to his GOD like Muslims do. [How would you explain this from the very Bible?

[ Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.] Soorat Aal'Imraan {3:190}

[ It is He Who sends down water from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which Webring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date-palm and its spathe comef orth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar {in kind} yet different {in variety and taste}. Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.] Soorat Al An'aam {6:99}

[ He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible {to you}. Verily, in this are aayaat {proofs, evidences,lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} for a people who listen {i.e. those who thinkdeeply}.] Soorat Younus {10:67}

[ And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain {two in pairs - maymean two kinds or it may mean: of two sorts, e.g. black and white, sweet andsour, small and big, etc.} He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.}for people who reflect.] Soorat Ar Ra'd {13:3}

[ And in the earth are neighbouring tracts, and gardens of vines, and green crops{fields etc.}, and date-palms, growing out two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise {one stem root for every palm}, watered with the same water, yet someof them We make more excellent than others to eat. Verily, in these things, there are aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} for the people who understand.] Soorat Ar Ra'd {13:4}

[ Allaah is He Who has created the heavens and the earth and sends down water from the sky, and thereby brought forth fruits as provision for you; and He has made the ships to be of service to you, that they may sail through the sea by His Command; and He has made rivers {also} to be of service to you.] Soorat Ibraheem {14:32}

[ And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.] Soorat Ibraheem {14:33}

[ He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all they associate as partners with Him. He has created man from Nutfah {mixeddrops of male and female sexual discharges} then behold, this same {man}becomes an open opponent.] Soorat An Nahl {16:3-4}

[ And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth {warm clothing}, and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning.] Soorat An Nahl {16:5-6}

[ And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. And{He has created} horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates {other} things of which you have no knowledge.]Soorat An Nahl {16:7-8}

[ And upon Allaah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path {i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things,etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit andwhosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction}, but there are ways that turn aside {such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.}. And had He willed,He would have guided you all {mankind}.] Soorat An Nahl {16:9}

[ He it is Who sends down water from the sky; from it you drink and from it{grows} the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.] Soorat An Nahl {16:10-11}


[ And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.] Soorat An Nahl {16:12}


[ And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours {and qualities from botanical life and from zoological life}. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.] Soorat An Nahl {16:13}

[ And He it is Who has subjected the sea {to you}, that you eat thereof fresh tender meat {i.e. fish}, and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek {thus} of His Bounty{by transporting the goods from place to place} and that you may be grateful.]Soorat An Nahl {16:14}

[ And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves. And landmarks{signposts, etc. during the day} and by the stars {during the night}, they{mankind} guide themselves.] Soorat An Nahl {16:15-16}


[ Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?And if you would count the graces of Allaah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.] Soorat An Nahl {16:17-18}


[ And Allaah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while youk now nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks {to Allaah}.] Soorat An Nahl {16:78}


[ Do they not see the birds held {flying} in the midst of the sky? None holds them but Allaah {none gave them the ability to fly but Allaah}. Verily, in this are clear proofs and signs for people who believe.] Soorat An Nahl {16:79}

[ Who has made earth for you like a bed {spread out}; and has opened roads{ways and paths etc.} for you therein; and has sent down water from the sky.And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. Eat and pasture your cattle, {therein}; verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding.] Soorat Ta Ha {20:53-54}

[ Thereof {the earth} We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again.] Soorat Ta Ha {20:55}

[ He brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living.And He revives the earth after its death. And thus shall ou be brought out{resurrected}.] Soorat Ar Ruum {30:19}

[ And among His Signs is this, that He created you {Adam} from dust, and then[Hawwa {Eve} from Adam's rib, and then his offspring from the semen, and], -behold you are human beings scattered!] Soorat Ar Ruum {30:20}

[ And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.]Soorat Ar Ruum {30:21}


[ And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.] Soorat Ar Ruum {30:22}

[ And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen.]Soorat Ar Ruum {30:23}


[ And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning, by way of fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand.]Soorat Ar Ruum {30:24}


[ And among His Signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His Command,then afterwards when He will call you by single call, behold, you will come out from the earth {i.e from your graves for reckoning and recompense}.] Soorat ArRuum {30:25}

[ To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.] Soorat Ar Ruum {30:26}

[ And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it {after it has beenperished}, and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description {i.e. none hasthe right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him} in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.] Soorat ArRuum {30:27)

[ See you not that the ships sail through the sea by Allaah's Grace? that He may show you of His Signs? Verily, in this are signs for every patient, grateful{person}.] Soorat Luqman {31:31}

[ Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs.Would they not then listen? ] Soorat As Sajdah {32:26}

[ Have they not seen how We drive water {rain clouds} to the dry land without any vegetation, and therewith bring forth crops providing food for their cattle and themselves? Will they not then see?] Soorat As Sajdah {32:27}

[ It is Allaah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those {souls} for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.] SooratAz Zumar {39:42}


[ And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains. If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back {of the sea}. Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.] Soorat AshShura {42:32-33}


[ Or He may destroy them {by drowning} because of that which their {people}have earned. And He pardons much.] Soorat Ash Shura {42:34}


[ And those who dispute {polytheists, etc. with Our Messenger} as regards Our aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} may know that there is no place of refuge for them {from Allaah's punishment}.] Soorat Ash Shura{42:35}


[ Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. And in your creation, and what He scattered {through the earth} of moving {living} creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty.] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:3-4}


[ And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision {rain} that Allaah sends down from the sky, and revives there with the earth after its death, and inthe turning about of the winds {i.e. sometimes towards the East or North, and sometimes towards the south or west etc., sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment}, are signs for a people who understand.] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:5}

[ These are the aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} of Allaah, which We recite to you with truth. Then in which speech after Allaah and His aayaat will they believe? ] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:6}

[ Woe to every sinful liar, Who hears the Verses of Allaah {being} recited to him,yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment! ] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:7-8}

[ And when he learns something of Our Verses {this Quraan}, he makes them ajest. For such there will be a humiliating torment. ] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:9}


[ In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor {will be of any profit to them} those whom they have taken as Awliya' besides Allaah. And theirs will be a great torment. ] Soorat Al Jaathiya{45:10}

[ This {Quraan} is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the aayaat {proofs,evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz {a severe kind of punishment}.] Soorat Al Jaathiya{45:11}

[ Allaah it is He Who has subjected to you the sea, that ships may sail through it by His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be thankful,] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:12}

[ And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.] Soorat Al Jaathiya {45:13}

[ And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allaah Who created them, if you {really} worship Him.] Soorat Fussilat {41:37}


[ And among His Signs {in this}, that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water to it, it is stirred to life and growth {of vegetations}. Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, {He} is Able to give life to the dead. Indeed! He is Able to do all things.] Soorat Fussilat {41:39}


[ And among His aayaat {proofs, evidences, signs, etc.} is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and whatever moving {living} creatures He has dispersed in them both. And He is All-Potent over their assembling {i.e. resurrecting them on the Day of Resurrection after their death, and dispersion of their bodies}whenever He will.] Soorat Ash Shura {42:29}

[ The leaders of those who were arrogant among his people said to those who were counted weak - to such of them as believed: "Know you that Saaleh is one sent from his Lord." They said: "We indeed believe in that with which he has been sent."] Soorat Al A'raaf {7:75}


[ Say {to the disbelievers}: "Tell me, if Allaah took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who is there - an ilah {God} other than Allaah who could restore them to you?" See how variously We explain the aayaat{proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.}, yet they turn aside.] Soorat AlAn'aam {6:46}


[ It is He Who has set the stars for you, so that you may guide your course with their help through the darkness of the land and the sea. We have {indeed}explained in detail Our aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.}for people who know.] Soorat Al An'aam {6:97}


[ It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out its {their} stages, that you might know the number of years and the reckoning. Allaah did not create this but in truth. He explains the aayaat {proofs,evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} in detail for people who have knowledge.] Soorat Younus {10:5}


[ Verily the likeness of {this} worldly life is as the water which We send down from the sky, so by it arises the intermingled produce of the earth of which men and cattle eat until when the earth is clad with its adornments and is beautified,and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday! Thus do We explain the aayaat{proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} in detail for the people who reflect.] Soorat Younus {10:24}


[ Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and the earth," but neither aayaat{proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} nor warners benefit those who believe not.] Soorat Younus {10:101}


[ And Allaah makes the aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.} plain to you, and Allaah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.] Soorat An Nuur {24:18}

[ And to Allaah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allaah is Ever Encompassing all things.] Soorat An Nisaa {4:126}


[ Thus do We explain the aayaat {proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelation,etc.} in detail, so that they may turn {unto the truth}.] Soorat Al A'raaf {7:174}

101 Proofs that the Quran is Not Copied from the Bible

Nay, We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur'ân) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us).[Quran 21:18]



Time and time again, we Muslims have to endure accusations that our Qur'an is copied from the Bible. Below are 101 proofs that makes it impossible for the Qur'an to be copied from the Bible.



1 - Who was created first, Adam or Satan? The Quran says Satan, the Bible doesn't say anything.
2 - Who was created first, Adam or the Angles? The Quran says the Angels, the Bible doesn't say anything.
3 - Why doesn't the Bible mention that Noah had two wives, one was disobedient, and she died.And another which was saved.
4 - Why does the Bible say that Noah's ark is in Ararat but it was discovered in Al-Judyy, as the Quran says so?
5 - Why does the Bible say that God afflicted women for Eve's sin, and the Quran doesn't tell us such thing.
6 - Where does the Bible tell us about the story of Aad and Thamood. The town of Thamoud has been discovered in Saudi Arabia--it's located in a place called Mada-in Saleh. And recently, the town of Aad has been discovered with the help of NASA's satellites. Check the link below:

26 - Why does the Bible tells us in Genesis that God had to take a walk to find Adam, and the Quran tells us that God's knowledge doesn't require that He walks?
27 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Jesus spoke in the cradle, but the Bible knows nothing about the childhood of Jesus?
28 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Jesus made miracles by giving life to statues made from clay?
29 - The Quran tells us that Aaron is innocent; he did not make the golden calf, but a man called Al-Samirri (A person who organizes songs and joy) made it, while the Bible tells us that Aaron made the Golden calf.
30 - why is it that the Quranic Laws state that the thief's hands should be chopped, and the laws of Moses say something else?
31 - Why does the Quran say lash the fornicators 100 times, and the Bible says stone them.
32 - Why does the Quran orders us to fast in Ramadhan and the Bible doesn't.
33 - Why does the Quran tells us that the inheritance share of the man is as twice as much as the woman, and the Bible has no such law?
34 - Why does the Quran tells us not to transgress in wars, and the Bible teaches us to kill every living thing including plants (Joshua 6).
35 - The Bible teaches us to kill unbelievers, and leave to ourselves YOUNG virgins who never knew a man (Numbers 31). Why isn't such thing present in the Quran?
36 - The Quran tells us to free slaves to enter heaven in Surat Al-Balad. Why doesn't the Bible say such thing?
37 - Why is Satan called a FALLEN ANGEL in the Bible, and not in the Quran?
38 - Why does the Quran tells us there are Jinn (Some are good and othersare bad), but the Bible doesn't mention Jinn?
39 - Why is it that the Quran tells us to perform Hajj to Makkah, and the Bible doesn't tell us such thing?
40 - Why does the Quran tells us that Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba, while the Bible says no such thing?
41 - Why is it that the Bible condemns David as a murderer, and the Quran tells us that he was a pious sinless prophet?
42 - Why doesn't the Bible tell us the story of Solomon and Balqees?
43 - Why doesn't the Bible tell us that Solomon had Jinns who worked forhim, and the Quran says so?
44 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Solomon had soldiers from the Jinn and the Bible doesn't say so?
45 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Solomon understood the speech of the birds and the Bible doesn't say so?

47 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that ONLY female bees get the honey, and the Bible doesn't say so?

58 - Why doesn't the Bible mention the story when Abraham was put into a fire by his people and the Quran does?

91 - The Bible God in Leviticus 21 tells us that hunchbacks, dwarfs, cripples, blind people, people who are deformed or disfigured, or have damaged testicles--all those people cannot become priests. The Quran tells us that there is no difference between a man and another except in piety. Why didn't Mohammad (s) copy this BEAUTIFUL law from the Bible?
92 - Why does the Bible God in Leviticus 21 forbid priests from marrying divorced women, and the Quran doesn't say such thing?
93 - Why is it that the Bible tells the people to call a person who doesn't listen to his father or mother "stubborn and a drunkard"? The Quran does not tell us that we should call a person who is disobedient to his parents as a drunkard. Furthermore, the Biblical law is that thisperson should be stoned to death, but the Quran approves no such thing. Why?
94 - The Quran tells us that we are not above the Law. We must adhere to theLaws of God. But the Bible God tells the Christians in Galatians 2 that they are under no LAW!! In other words, God made all these laws, so that Christians can see them and smile. Why didn't Mohammad tell his people that the Quranic laws are only for non-Muslims?
95 - The Bible God tells us that He will let us see the sex organs of the Jews, but the Quran mentions no such thing. Mohammad (s) had serious problems with the Jews, so why didn't he make fun of them with something similar with what we read in Nahum 3?
96 - In Romans 6, the Bible tells us that Jesus will never die again. But The Quran tells us that he will die and he will be raised at Judgment day. Why didn't Mohammad copy from Romans 6?
97 - The Bible teaches Christians to drink wine, the Quran forbids Muslims drinking. Why?
98 - 1 Corinthians 6 tells us that our bodies are members of Christ. The Quran tells us that our bodies belong to Allah, Christ has nothing to do with our bodies. Why didn't Mohammad (s) copy that from the Bible?
99 - In Ezekiel 20, the Bible God tells us that he wanted to decimate all the Israelites, but He didn't do so because it would hurt his reputation. In the Quran God tells us that He does indeed take away all the people if they were wrongful (Like the people of Noah, Sodom, Aad, and Thamood) if He wills.
100 - The Bible God has a beautiful punishment in Malachi 2. He threatens an Israelite that He would fill his face with feces!! In the Quran, God never says such things.
101 - The Bible says that the Original Sin was committed by Adam and Eve when they ate from the forbidden tree. The Quran tells us that the Original Sin was Satan's arrogance when he didn't obey God, when God ordered him to do So.

1 - The Quran tells us about an argument in 2:258 about Abraham and the King. Does the Bible have this story?
2 - The Quran handles divorce with care. A divorced woman stays in her house; a man should provide for her; a man should not return his wife to give her a hard time, etc. Does the Bible have the same laws regarding divorce as the Quran?
3 - The Quran tells us that Sins are not inherited. But, the Bible tells us that sins are inherited.
4 - The Quran tells us that God forgave Adam's sin after he ate from the forbidden tree. Does the Bible say that?

Most of these signs are mentioned in the Sunnah, however, one interesting sign is a Beast/animal that would appear to the people and inform them of their status. We find this beast mentioned in the Quran in 27:82. Does the Bible say such thing?
8 - The Quran tells us that man and women are created from ONE SOUL. Does the Bible say that man and women are created from one soul? No, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 11:7 that man is the image and glory of God, while women are the glory of man.

13 - We read in Surat Al-Nahl in the Quran, that the honey bee produces honey with different hues which is healthy and beneficial for mankind. Just recently, Apitherapy came up with a fantastic cure for arthritist and other chronic diseases--this therapy is called bee sting therapy, where the bee stings the patient and the venom would cure the pain. In addition, the Quran also says that the female bee is responsible for building the hive and collecting the honey. All that is proved by science today. I wonder which book of the Bible says such thing! Search the web for "Bee Sting Therapy" or "Apitherapy" to find out more.
14 - In in the 16th verse of Surat Al-'Alaq, we read: "A lying sinful forelock!" Psychologists and neurologists have confirmed that it is in this area of the brain where morals and behavior are processed. Therefore, when someone decides to lie, this decision comes from that front part of the brain, and the Quran refers to that specific part when it refers to lying. Now, I wonder from which Bible passage did Mohammad (s) copy that from.
15 - In the book of Genesis we read the story about what happened to Abraham when he went to Egypt. The Bible tells us that he sold his honor by allowing his wife to become Pharaoh's concubine, so that he could be treated well instead of being killed. Now there is nowhere in the Quran where such accusation is attributed to Prophet Abraham. I wonder why didn't Prophet Mohammad (s) copy such thing from the Bible.

AL-QUR`AN, The Miracle of Miracles

Quran verse: Say: If the whole of mankind and jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur`an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.

What is a miracle? I think it is necessary that we have a clear picture of what we mean by a miracle. Here are some definitions:-
"An event that appears so inexplicable by the laws of nature, that it is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God." "A person, thing or event that excites admiring awe." "An act beyond human power, an impossibility."
It is logical that greater the impossibility, greater the miracle. For example, should a person expire before our very eyes and is certified dead by a qualiified medical man, yet later on a mystic or a saint commands the corpse to 'arise!', and to everybody's astonishment the person gets up and walks away , we would label that as a miracle. But if the resurrection of the dead took place after the corpse had been in the mortuary for three days, then we would acclaim this as a greater miracle. And if the dead was made to arise from the grave, decades or centuries after the body had decomposed and rotted away, then in that case we would label it the greatest miracle of them all!

A Common Trait: It has been a common trait of mankind since time immemorial that whenever a guide from God appeared to redirect their steps into the will and plan of God; they demanded supernatural proofs from these men of God, instead of accepting message on its merit.

For example, when Jesus Christ (pbuh) began to preach to his people - "the children of Israel" - to mend their ways and to refrain from mere legalistic formalism and imbibe the true spirit of the laws and commandments of god, his 'people' demanded miracles from him to prove his bona fides ( his authenicity , his genuineness), as recorded in the christian scriptures:
Then certain of the scribes and the phairsees answered, saying master, we would have a sign ( miracle ) from thee. But he answered and said unto them, "an evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign (miracle) and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas ( matthew 12:38-39 holy bible)

Though on the face of it, Jesus (pbuh) refuses to pamper the jews here, in actual fact, he did perform many miracles as we learn from the gospel narratives.
The holy bible is full of supernatural events accredited to the prophets from their lord. In reality all those 'signs' and 'wonders' and 'miracles' were acts of God, but since those miracles were worked through his human agents, we describe them as the miracles of prophets (i.e. Moses or Jesus (pbuh) by those hands they were performed).

Quirk Continues: Some six hundred years after the birth of Jesus(pbuh), Muhammad (pbuh) the messenger of God was born in Makkah in arabia. When he proclaimed his mission at the age of forty, his fellow countrymen, the mushriks of makkah made an identical request for miracles, as had the jews, from their promised Messiah. Text book style, it was as if the arabs had taken a leaf from the christian records. History has a habit of repeating itself!
And they say: why are not signs sent down to him from his lord? (holy Qu`ran 29:50)

SIGNS! WHAT SIGNS!! "Miracles ? Cries he, what miracles would you have? Are not you yourselves there? God made you 'shaped you out of a little clay.' Ye were small once; a few years ago ye were not at all. Ye have beauty, strength, thoughts, 'ye have compassion on one another.' Old age comes-on you, and grey hairs; your strength fades into feebleness: ye sink down, and again are not. 'Ye have compassion on one another': This struck me much: Allah might have made you having no compassion on one another, how had it been then! this is a great direct though, a glance at first-hand into the very fact of things...." "(On heroes hero-worship and the heroic in history,")by Thomas Carlyle.

"This Struck Me Much" This, that "ye have compassion on one another", impressed thomas carlyle most from his perusal of an English translation. I persume, there verse that motivated this sentiment is:
1. And among his signs is this, that he created for you mates from amonng yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them. and he has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are signs for those who reflect. (emphasis added) Translation by A Yusuf ALi (Qu`ran 30:21)
2. And one of his signs it is, that he hath created wives for you of your own species that ye may dwell with them, and hath put love and tenderness between you. herein truly are signs for those who reflect (emphasis added) Translation by Rev. J.M. Rodwell(M.A.)
3. By another sign he gave you wives from among yourselves, that ye might live in joy with them, and planted love and kindness into your hearts. surely there are signs in this for thinking men(emphasis added) Translation by N.J. Dawood.

The first example is from the translation by Yusuf Ali, a muslim. The second is by a christian priest the rev. Rodwell and the last example is by an iraqi Jew, N.J. Dawood.
Unfortunately Thomas Carlyle had no access to any one of these because none of them had seen the light of day in his time. The only one available to him in 1840 was as he said on page 85 of his book under referance - "We also can read the Koran; our translation of it, by sale, is known to be a very fair one."
Taint Is In The Motive: Carlyle is very charitable to his fellow countryman. The motives of george sale, who pioneered an English translation of the Holy Quran, were suspect. He makes no secret of his antagonism to the holy book of Islam. In his preface to his translation in 1734 he made it known that it was his avowed intention to expose the man Mohammad and his forgery. He records: "who can apprehend any danger from so manifest a forgery?... The protestants alone are able to attack the koran with success; and for them, I trust, providence has reserved the glory of its overthrow." George Sale, And he set to work with his prejudiced translation. You will be able to judge how 'fair' and scholarly george sale was from the very verse which 'struck' (carlyle) 'much!' Compare it with the three example already given by a muslim, a christian and a jew: And of his signs another is, that he had created you , out of yourselves, wives that ye may cohabit with them, and hath put love and compassion between you .

I dont think that george sale was a 'a male chauvinist pig' of his day to describe our mates, wives or spouses as sexual objects. He was only keeping to his promise, which carlyle overlooked. The arabic word which he (sale) perverted is 'li-tas-kunoo' which means to find peace, consolation, composure or tranquility; and not 'cohabit' meaning 'to live together in a sexual relationship when not legally married' (the reader's digest universal dictionary.)

Every word of the Quranic text is meticulously chosen, chiselled and placed by the All-Wise himself. They carry God's 'fingerprint', and are signs of God. And yet, the spirtually jaundiced....
Ask For A Sign: What signs?? They mean some special kinds of signs or miracles such as their own foolish minds dictate. Everything is possible for God, but God is not going to humour the follies of men or listen to their false demands. He has sent his messenger to explain his signs clearly, and to warn them of the consequences of rejection. Is that not enough? The trend of their demand is generally as follows:

In specific terms they asked that he - Muhammad (pbuh) - 'Put a ladder up to heaven an bring down a book from God in their very sight' - "Then we would believe," they said. Or "ye see the mountain yonder, turn it into gold' - "then we would believe." or 'make streams to gush out in the desert' - "then we would believe."

Now listen to the soft, sweet reasoning of Muhammad(pbuh) against the unreasonable and sceptical demands of the mushriks - "Do I say to you, verily I am an angel? Do I say to you, verily in my hands are the treasures of God? Only, what is revealed to me do I follow." Listen further to the most dignified reply he is commanded by his Lord to give the unbelievers.
Say (O Muhammad): 'The signs (miracles) are indeed with Allah: And most certainly I am only a clear warner.!'

In the following ayah the holy prophet is made to point to the holy Qur`an itself as an answer to their hypocritical demand for some special kind of 'sign' of 'miracle' for which their foolish pagan mentality craved. For indeed all miracles are 'signs'; and it is their disbelief, their scepticism, their lack of faith which motivates their request for a sign. They are asked to - 'look at the Qur`an' and again, 'look at the Qur`an!'

It is not enough for them that we have sent down to thee (O Muhammad) the book(al-Qur`an) which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in it (this perspicuous book) is a mercy and reminder to those who believe. (Qur`an 29:51).

Two Proofs: As a proof of the divine authorship and the miraculous nature of the Qur`an, two arguments are advanced by the almighty Himself:
1. 'that we' (God Almighty) have revealed to you (O muhammed!) 'the book to you' who art absolutely an unlearned person. An 'ummi' prophet. One who cannot read or write. One who cannot sign his own name. Let thomas carlyle testify regarding the educational qualifications of Muhammad -
'one other circumstance we must not forget: that he had no school learnin; of the thing we call school-learning none at all.'

Moreoever the divine author(God Almighty) himself testifies to the veracity of Muhammed's(pbuh) claim that he could never have composed the contents of the holy Qur`an; he could not have been its author:
And thou (O Muhammad) was not (able) to recite a book before this (book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand:

In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted (Qur`an 29:48).
The author of the Qur`an is reasoning with us, that had Muhammad(pbuh) been a learned man, and had he been able to read or write, then in that case the babblers in the market places might have had some justification to doubt his claim that the holy qur`an is God's word. In the event of Muhammed(pbuh) being a literate person, the accusation of his enemies that he had probably copied his book (Qur`an) from the writings of the jews and christians, or that perhaps he had been studying aristotle and plato, or that he must have browsed through the 'Torat,' the 'Zabur' and the 'Injeel' and had rehashed it all in a beautiful language, might have carried some weight. Then, 'the talkers of vanities' might have had a poiint. But even this flimsy pretence has been denied to the unbeliever and the cynic: a point hardly big enough to hang a fly upon!
2. 'The book'? Yes, the 'book' itself, carries its own evidence proving its divine authorship. Study the book from any angel. Scrutinize it. Why not take up the author's challenge if your doubts are genuine? Do they not consider the qur`an(with care) had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.

Consistency: It is inconceivable that any human author would remain consistent in this teachings and his preachings for a period of over two decades. From the age of forty, when Muhammad (pbuh) recieved his first call from heaven to the age sixty-three when he breathed his last, for twenty-three years the holy prophet practised and preached Islam. In those twenty-three years, he passed through the most conflicting vicissitudes of life. Any man, during the course of such a mission, would be forced by circumstances to make 'honourable' compromises, and cannot help contradicting himself. No man can ever write the same always, as the message of the holy qur`an is: consistent with itself, throughout! Or is it that the unbelievers objections are merely argumentive, refractory, against their own better light and judgement.? Furthermore, the holy qur`an contains or mentions many matters relating to the nature of the universe which were unknown to man before but which subsequently through evolution and discoveries of Science have fully confirmed - a field where an untutored mind would have most certainly lost in wild and contradictory speculations!
Self-Evident Proof: Again and again when miracles are demanded from the prophet of God by the cynical and frivolous few, he is made to point to the qur`an - message from high - as 'the miracle.' The miracle or miracles! And men of wisdom, people with literary and spiritual insight, who were honest enough to themselves, recognised and accepted al-qur`an as an a genuine miracle.
Says the holy Qur`an: Nay here are signs self-evident in the hearts of those endowed with knowledge: And none but the unjust reject our signs. (qur`an 29:49).

The Importance of the Beginning of this New Millennium

The new millennium is upon us! It was not just the end of a decade. Not just the end of a century. But we are one of the very few generations to ever see the end and beginning of a millennium. What an incredible and historic time to be alive!

But could the new millennium be much more significant than most of us can even imagine? Biblical prophecy fulfillment is rushing to a climax. Throughout history, according to researchers, both Christian and Jewish writers looked to right now -- not to the first, third, fourth or any other millennium -- but surprisingly to this new millennium as the most eventful time in all history. If they were alive today, they would undoubtedly be ecstatic with anticipation. Should we? Did they know something we have overlooked, or dismissed too lightly? Does this new millennium signal the Second Coming of Jesus Christ? Consider the following evidence, far from exhaustive and only a sample:

Early Christians looked to this time!

While scholars may debate and try to explain or deny it, it is a fact that biblical chronology describes about 6,000 years from Adam and Eve to the year A.D. 2000. The six creation days of Genesis were undoubtedly prophetic of a planned six "millennial days" of human history, followed by the seventh, or Sabbath, Millennium. "One day is with the Lord as a thousand years" (2 Peter 3:8). God did not require seven days to complete creation. He could have done it in a microsecond or less. The seven days were obviously prophetic, a picture of His planned 6,000-year history of man.

The right of "dominion" over the earth that God gave Adam in Genesis 1:28 was no doubt only a 6,000-year lease -- six millennial days -- the time period established for man's rule. After the earth lease has expired and a possible transition period, Christ, the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45), will return and assume dominion of the earth as ruling King during the seventh Millennium, having legally purchased back the lease and dominion with His own blood. This would follow the 2,000 years when “God first visited the Gentiles (nations) to take out of them a people for His name" (Acts 15:14). The possible transition period would provide a cleansing of the earth, what we call the Tribulation. Solomon's reign was a type of Millennium, and it began with a cleansing. Or, the transition might simply be a parenthetical period on God's calendar between the sixth and seventh millennia.

Early Christian writers held that at the end of 6,000 years of history, Christ would return and reign for 1,000 years (referred to as the Millennium). These included Barnabas (c. A.D. 100), Justin Martyr and Irenaeus (c. A.D. 150), Lactantius (c. A.D. 325), and Methodius, Bishop of Tyre (c. A.D. 300).

For example, Barnabas wrote: "As there had been 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham, and 2,000 from Abraham to Christ; so there will be 2,000 years for the Christian era and then would come the Millennium."

(Some believe the 2,000 years of the Christian era are not modern 365.24-day years, but prophetic, or "God-years" of 360 days each, beginning with the year of Christ's crucifixion, which scholars debate as from A.D. 30 to 33. Converting 2,000 modern years to prophetic years is by multiplying 2,000 by 360 then dividing by 365.24, the result of which is 1,971.3 years. If you add 1,971.23 years to 30-33, you get A.D. 2001 to 2004.)

Church father Irenaeus wrote concerning a belief of the early church: "For the day of the Lord is as a thousand years; and in six days created things were completed; it is evident, therefore, that they will come to an end at the sixth thousand years." Lactantius, tutor of the son of the Roman Emperor Constantine, stated in his Book of Divine Institutes, Chapter 14: "Let the philosophers know that the six thousandth year is not yet completed; and when this number is completed, the consummation must take place."

Later, in A.D. 1552, Bishop Latimer wrote: "The world was ordained to endure, as all learned men affirm, 6,000 years. Now of that number, there be passed 5,552 years (as of A.D. 1552), so that there is no more left but 448 years (ending in A.D. 2000)."

(Some scholars actually count the 6,000 years of Bible history as ending on Rosh Hashana, 1999, the beginning of the Jewish year that overlaps with the Gregorian year 2,000.)

In the 17th century, Archbishop Ussher had access to many ancient church manuscripts that were lost in the burning of early Irish churches during the Irish wars. In A.D. 1650, in Latin, he wrote The Chronology on the Old and New Testament in which he calculated that the Millennium would begin in A.D. 1997. He may not have been far off the mark.

The writings of other church fathers such as Victorinus, Bishop of Petau and Hippotylus support the argument that the apostles and the early church believed and taught that the Millennium would commence at the end of 6,000 years.

As you go through my blog you find out that it is not scientifically, historically, linguistically, structurally and spiritually possible that Quran can be the invention of Muhammad (PBUH). It is beyond belief that your message is that of honesty and fear of God and you would lie against God. We are left with God versus the great deceiver Satan. Go through the Quran and my bolg and find out to yourself who is the author of the Quran. For me if Satan has inspired Muhammad (PBUH) with the Quran he would be a very nice Satan for the following reasons:

1- He would glorify God in big amount of verses.

2- He would teach us morality and the fear of God.

3- He would praise all the prophets and continue in their teachings. He would be a pro-Christ and praise him in many verses.

4- He would ask us to do a lot of prayers and praise and have all our life lived by God and for God.

5- He would warn us bout evil and advise the good.

6- He would require all of us to be righteous and not only the religious elites.

7- He would not like us to have any partners and idols with God including our big egos.

8- He would insist on the ten commandments.

9- He would insist on charity.

10- He would warn us about usury.

11- He would warn us about Satan and hell.

You see if Satan had inspired Muhammad with Quran he would be a very nice Satan. He can come over my house for dinner in the week ends.

Dawa: Time to Boxes!

"There is no god worthy of worship, except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
Yahya Emerick, in his book How to tell others about Islam, says, "This simple statement is the most powerful declaration ever devised! For beyond the words themselves, lies a powerful concept and a compelling ideology. Whole societies, cultures, and empires have been elevated with its application, or ruined by its rejection."

A question then naturally arises, how come Muslims, who possess such a precious gift or a Way of Life, known as Islam, do not feel the need to share it with others? How come we, who understand this powerful statement, do not realize the state of those who find it difficult to believe in the existence of God, or those who are too busy amusing themselves in this world to even care about God or the Truth, or those who live a spiritually-disoriented life devoid of peace?

Dawa: A State of Mind and Way of Life

The beloved companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), such as Abu Dhar al-Ghifari, Musab bin Umayr, Muadh ibn Jabal, Jafar bin Abi Talib, and many others, may Allah be pleased with them all, were ever ready to let the world know about Islam. It was as if a fire was constantly burning in their hearts. The spirit of Dawa, or calling others towards the Truth, comes only from within; it sparks when Muslims develop a feeling of dissatisfaction, restlessness, and sympathy towards the hopeless and discontented people around them. Islam is about giving people hope and noble principles to live by. Dawa is about change and revival in the hearts and intellect of the society. Khurram Murad, a great passionate intellectual and author, elaborated, “Dawa, prior to everything, is a state of mind, a world view, an attitude to life, indeed a kind of life. The critical prerequisite to Dawa is a consciousness, personal and collective, imbued with a true vision of Dawa in Islam.”

The People of the Boxes

There exists a great deal of evil and chaos in our communities, such as young drug addicts, youth in prisons and hospitals, teenage pregnancies, rise in suicidal rates, disintegration of the family system, and more. Nothing, however, seems to move our hearts, souls, and intellect to action!
Indeed, as Dawud Wharnsby Ali, a Canadian Muslim educator and vocal artist, explains, “We Muslims have become a people of the Boxes. We have hid ourselves inside a box called ‘Islam’, which has been locked, preventing anyone else from observing our beautiful way of life and communicating with us.” It’s so comfy in our box that we are too lazy, and at times scared, to open the lid to let some sunlight in. Like a gorgeous flower that decays in a tightly sealed box, devoid of any air, nourishment, light, and ‘communication’ with the nature, the Muslim community has undeniably become stagnant and reluctant to communicate the message to those ‘outside’.

12 Principles to Consider in Sharing Islam

After realizing the responsibility of doing Dawa at individual and collective level, the following few concepts and tips may be useful for Dawa in university campuses, schools, neighbors, malls, and workplaces.

1. Dawa is an obligation, not an option. The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Convey this Message, even if only one sentence (or verse)" [Bukhari]. He also said, "Learn the required precepts of Islam and the Qur'an, then teach to others, for I will not live forever" [Bukhari]. Similarly, Allah commands us, "There should be a number of you who actively call people to the righteousness; who encourage goodness and forbid evil. These are the ones who shall prosper." [Qur'an 3:104] This verse, in a nutshell, may be considered the "Mission statement" for a Muslim's role in this life.

2. Dawa is not just about handing out pamphlets on streets, schools, or prisons. While distributing Islamic information is vital in communicating our message, we have to realize that our Islam has to be lived through our behavior. Therefore, if we do something immoral or indecent in public, obviously it would harm our Dawa efforts. Immodest clothing, usage of foul language, or interacting with the people of opposite gender beyond the limits set by Islam, will project a negative image to non-Muslims.

3. We should practice what we preach, as Allah says, "O you who (claim) to believe! Why do you preach that you do not practice?" [Qur'an 61:2]. Thus, the least we can do is try our best to avoid acts which we are not supposed to do

4. At the same time, perfection is not the pre-requisite for Dawa, because, had this been the case, then the Prophets (peace be upon them all) would be the only ones allowed to do Dawa. Life is an ever-growing circle of study, practice, and improvement! As Khurram Murad, indicates, “We cannot wait to become 'purified' and 'perfect'. For, at no point in time can one consider oneself to be perfect.” Some companions of the Prophet once asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, shouldn't we refrain from calling others to goodness if we don't practice ALL good things ourselves, and shouldn't we refrain from forbidding wrong things until we ourselves have abstained from ALL the bad." "No," he replied, "You should call others to goodness even if you don't do all good, and you should forbid bad things even if you don't abstain from all of them yourselves" [Tabarani].

5. Use Wisdom and speak only what is needed. Often times, we explain Islam to non-Muslims the way we were taught Islam traditionally; as a result, the true spirit and wisdom behind the message is not revealed. For instance, it is not wise to give all the details of the rituals of Prayer and Wudu, to a seeker of Truth, before even explaining why everyone should pray to God, in the first place. In addition, keep in mind, the more unnecessary information we give away, the more we confuse others. As Dawud Wharnsby Ali explains, "If someone asks us, 'What do you believe in?' it is more effective to say, 'I believe in One God', instead of saying, 'I believe in Islam,' because by doing that we automatically open the doors for them to explore Islam. They would perhaps be more curious to learn about this One True God, rather than this 'label', called Islam".

6. Let's move out of our "boxes" and "loops". It is quite unfortunate to find Muslims today, both young and old, spending their lives on hair-splitting "scholarly" debates over ‘Muslim identity’, ‘purification of the Sunnah’, ‘Islamic spirituality and Aqeeda’, and ‘ideology of revival’- at a time when Islam is being attacked at all fronts and our Dawa is perhaps at the most critical phase in the West. Instead of us engaging in a wise and intellectual discourse on pragmatic Dawa strategies, we have reduced ourselves to rhetoric, still trapped in our romantic ideals of Islamic revival and spirituality, not willing to address the issues of Western Muslim reality. Surely, our objectives and efforts need to be re-prioritized. As Imam Khalid Griggs, a Muslim activist, author, and Da’ee from North Carolina, once said, "Unfortunately, today, majority of the members of ‘Dawa’ organizations, simply do Dawa to each other, across the table usually." It is now high time to come out of this "box", and think of creative and dynamic ways of interacting with the society. Dawa is about changing the lives of people before anything else!

7. Show them Islam is relevant today and it is for them! When speaking of Islam, dwell more on the broader concepts, like Tawhid, Prophethood, the Hereafter, and Islam being a solution to their problems. As Malcolm X (rahimahullah) once said, "America needs to understand Islam, because it is the one religion that removes the Race problem from its society!" People in problem-ridden West, are more willing to accept this message, if they see Islam has an answer to their social problems, such as drugs, AIDS, crimes, teenage pregnancies, deterioration of families, loneliness...etc. and the fact that Islam is able to fill their spiritual void. We have yet to see Dawa material on these greatly needed themes.

8. Our approach towards Dawa has to be modified to address the youth and the atheists- a category which includes a significant portion of the Western Society, consisting of majority of youth today. Dawa traditionally meant to us inviting Jews, Christians, Hindus, and ‘people of faith’ to Islam- i.e. those who at least believed in God, in whatever shape or form. Nowadays however, Dawa could also mean inviting faithless people towards religion. The students in schools, universities, and colleges, are the potential recipients of this form of Dawa, as they represent the height of secularism or atheism in North America! Often times, it's challenging enough to convince them of the virtues of religion itself, let alone calling them to Islam. Therefore, in order to establish a belief in the existence of God, before anything else, we should learn how to raise questions about the belief in God and the defects in the theory of evolution, through educational discourse.

9. Remember, not to assume beliefs and never tell someone what they believe. Learn about other faiths as much as possible. It is a powerful tool that would help us understand and reach out to people more effectively. For example, if a Hindu or a Christian friend inquires about Islam, it is wrong to begin by tearing apart the concept of Trinity or polytheism or by poking holes in their faiths. In fact, he or she may not be able to even understand what you're talking about, because majority of people in this society do not even know much about their own 'religion'. Moreover, many don't even agree with every single principle that their faith advocates.
10. Usage of proper language plays a great role in Dawa. Instead of using "Holy war" to translate the word Jihad, use a more comprehensive and proper term, like, "struggle" or "striving". Similarly, avoid using "worship" or "being His slaves" for the word Ibada. Instead it would be much more appealing to use, "service" or "obedience." Try to use a language that is more appealing to North Americans.

11. Avoid generalizations. Our purpose is to communicate, not convert; it is to share, not scare. Avoid issuing ‘Fatwas’ or labelling them, ie. it's better to avoid generalizations like: "all present day Christians are atheists in practice", "all youth in the West are Religio-phobic", "all Jews are murderers", "all Hindus hate Islam", "the media always portrays Muslims as terrorists", etc. We all know there are always some sincere and moderate people in every faith and community. Similarly, media is merely a tool, which could also be used for Dawa and educational purposes. These generalizations can damage our Dawa work if used just for the sake of it.

12. Gender-consciousness is important! Let's not forget that Islam was the primary force of women's liberation, until some Muslims themselves began to adopt the practices of Jahiliyya (ignorant societies) by locking women up in homes. Point out the difference between Islamic ‘feminism’ and the Western feminism. Highlight the freedom that Muslim women enjoyed throughout most of Islamic history compared to the women in Europe. Despite all the stereotypes in the media against the role of women in Islam, it is surprising to see that, statistically speaking, more women are converting to Islam today, than to any other religion. Avoid talking about the virtues of polygamy, as there are less than 2% Muslim males in the world who ever practice polygamy, so it shouldn't be a hot topic to be used as a "tool" of Dawa.
Most North Americans are searching for some spirituality, as well as a purpose and direction in life. Let's not put our Islam in a separate compartment, box, or a loop, to be pulled out only on Fridays or during Ramadan.

Is There a God?

No one can prove to you the existence of God, as in a mathematical proof. But you still will be able to be certain of His existence: There are many good, rational arguments. We will make them in a moment.But if you do not want to believe in God, you never will. There can be no scientific proof, simply because God is not physical or material, He is spiritual and infinite. Science is the observation of material phenomena in this universe, and then applying our reason and logic to understand and control them.

By definition, God cannot exist as part of this universe, cannot be composed of matter, and cannot even exist in time. We will explain why later on this page. But even things in this world cannot really be proven with 100% certainty. Entire books have been written about how the U.S. space program has been faked by the government. All you have to do is set the standards of proof high enough, and absolutely nothing can be proven. Proof is a tricky subject. As the old Greeks like Euclid discovered, all proofs have to rely on at least several assumptions (which they called postulates) which cannot themselves be proven. So a person who demands hard proofs is doomed to failure.

It is a doctrine of the Church that faith does not come to us through reason alone, but by the grace of God. If a person opposes even the possiblity of God's existence, then any arguments or evidence can be rationalized away.Since it is impossible to "prove" with absolute certainty, any amount of belief in God has to come from your own spirit, from within your own heart, because it is the spirit of God that we are trying to find. The paradox is, you will only find this faith if God gives you the grace to find it. A person of faith already knows why they believe. It is not for any selfish reason, or because they want to be "saved." It is because they know they are a true child of God, and that we naturally seek Him and know Him as only a child can know their true parents. It is a completion of our lonely existence. It is a feeling of coming home. And it is a certainty that goes far beyond all efforts at "proof." Our faith is a pure gift from God. It is the result of our having accepted the gift of His grace.

Still, there are some very persuasive arguments, and we will make them just after this: The following is a true personal account, and I remember it like it was only yesterday.
"I am sure there is a heaven, and that my Grandpa is there. Here’s why:When I was a boy, my mother gave piano lessons to augment our small income. Our piano was an old upright that was so decrepit that it couldn’t be tuned, and had several keys that didn’t play at all. We couldn’t afford a better one. My grandfather, whose name was Joseph Weber, came to spend the last few months of his life with us. I don’t know what he was suffering from, but he was very ill and couldn’t get up from his bed. He would hear Mother talk about how difficult it was to teach on our old piano. Just before he died, he told her that when he got to heaven, the first thing he would do would be to make sure she got a new piano. Mom told him that she had been saving for years, and that all she was able to put aside was $50.00, not nearly enough even then. “Don’t worry, Ruthie,” he said, “ I’ll make sure you get one. I’ll send it right down from heaven.”A few days after Grandpa died, Mother got a call from someone who was moving out of our small town. It seems that they had a nice grand piano, almost new, and they had seldom used it and did not want to move it. They had heard that she was a piano teacher, and they wanted to know if she would like to purchase it for $50.00. Only after it was all set up in our living room, and Mom sat down to play it for the first time, did she notice the brand name of the piano, written in big gold letters above the keyboard. It was a little known maker, the only one of that make that I have ever seen. Mother sat motionless, staring, before bursting into tears.It was a Weber. So that is how I know that my Grandpa is in heaven. And that is why I returned to God after a long absence." [If you are thinking that a coincidence about a piano is not a good enough reason to have faith, please know that remembrance of this incident, many years later, only caused me to open up my heart and mind to the possibility of God, after a long and firm denial. But what if we are wrong, and there really is no God?

If it turns out to be all just a fairy tale, and you go out like a candle when you die, you will never know. There is no penalty for believing the wrong things all your life. In fact, psychologists will tell you that strong faith in God and leading a moral life is the best way to achieve happiness here on earth for ourselves regardless of what happens when we die. So it is a win-win. On the other hand, suppose you choose not to believe in God or lead a good, moral life and you are wrong! You will have all eternity to regret turning your back on God. And in addition, your life here will (in all probability) be much less happy. It is lose-lose. The best you can hope for is that in His infinite love for you, God will somehow lead you to Him.We are not asking you to "pretend" to believe in God. But this is a good reason to open up your minds to the possibility of His existence, and to pray for His grace to find faith.

Exciting Time In History: It Looks Like A Duck And It Quacks Like A Duck

I could be paranoid as well millions of people who think that we are at the end of time. We could be having other boring decades. But if you listen to prophecies of researchers in the three major religions you would think that we are in the end of time. I keep looking at the sky every night waiting for Jesus return or something close enough. It is exciting time in history. If our paranoia is a reality and our delusions are real history we should be happy and fearful in the same time. For all of these reasons it is exciting:

1- Prophecies will unfold in front of our own eyes.

2- The golden age will be few years away.

3- The world will turn from hate, conflicts and wars to peace and justice. The wolf will be a guest to the lamb.

4- We will have trials and tribulation it is exciting in a way that every day passes away means we are closer to the kingdom of God. If we to follow God plan it will be quite shorter.

5- We will have two Messiah and one Antichrist. Something you can not dream of in your life time.

6- The conversion of the three major religions to one religion, as well the other world religions and atheists and agnostics to one religion.

7- There will be no doubts when Jesus (PBUH) descend from heaven with angels. Atheists who are very likely thinking now we Muslims and Christians on drugs they will see Jesus with their own eyes.

8- The media and Hollywood will have a rich substance of material at the time of tribulation. Movies will predict history and history will look like movies. Movies will contribute to history and prophecy will be an act of movies. Prophecy to begin with is an act of faith.

9- The poor and oppressed will have hopes and the meek will inherit the earth.

10- We will have a newspaper in one hand and the Bible in the other to read and reconsider prophecies.

Sorry to take you away with my exciting thoughts of paranoia. I could be wrong and nothing is happening there. The thing is when it Looks Like A Duck And It Quacks Like A Duck it is Duck, or they say so.

Discovering the Real Jesus (part 1 of 5): Mark vs. Matthew and Luke

Many scholars and students of the Bible have observed how similar the gospels are to each other in the episodes they narrate and in the sayings of Jesus they report. These scholars and students have also noticed how the very same passages are also starkly different from each other in various details.
Over the last three hundred years, the world of Biblical scholarship has exercised its collective mind in solving the riddle of why the gospels are so similar and yet so different. The result of this laborious scholarly enquiry has resulted in the discovery that Matthew and Luke were dependent upon Mark and an additional source, termed “Q”, as the basis for their own gospels.
The two source hypothesis is generally accepted as the fundamental solution to the synoptic problem. It remains the majority position within contemporary New Testament scholarship.
The late protestant evangelical scholar F. F. Bruce writes:
“The conclusion usually and I think rightly drawn from their comparative study is that the Gospel of Mark or something very similar like it, served as a source for the Gospels of Matthew and Luke…”[1]
Mark’s gospel has been dated between 65-70 C.E. There is a general consensus on this dating, agreed upon by conservatives as well as skeptics, and found in most introductions to the New Testament.
F. F. Bruce corroborating this dating writes:
“Mark probably wrote his gospel in the first instance, for the Christians of Rome, in the aftermath of the persecution which overtook them without warning under Nero, as a sequel to the great fire in July, AD 64”.[2]
When studying these gospels, it is quite apparent that Mark is more primitive in style, theology and diction. More importantly, in Mark’s gospel the human Jesus stands out more visibly than the later gospels. Scholars argue that the depiction of Jesus in Mark represents a far more historical and real Jesus.
In Mark’s gospel, there are a plethora of passages which describe Jesus as a mere human being. Such passages would later on become stumbling blocks in the way of weak believers, traditions which “ran against the grain”, and were therefore omitted from the later gospels.
When one scrutinizes the same narratives of Jesus reported in Mark and Matthew, one quickly realizes that the latter has altered Mark’s gospel due to an increasing feeling of reverence for the person of Christ. Passages which show the inability, weakness and humanness of Jesus were omitted by Matthew and replaced with a much better Christology.
Of course, not all of the changes were Christological in nature. Factual inaccuracies, grammatical mistakes and other minor errors were also omitted by Matthew and Luke. Matthew’s redaction of Mark often appears at first to involve incidental details, but a closer study reveals that it is part of a consistent and thoroughgoing redevelopment of Mark.
Through the passing of time, there was a clear change in Christology from the earlier gospel to the later ones. The development was from lesser to greater. There was an enhancing of feelings of reverence and an increase in the position and status of Jesus.
Bruce Metzger, the premier New Testament textual critic, writes:
“Matthew and Luke suppress or weaken references in Mark to such human emotions of Jesus as grief and anger and amazement as well as Jesus’ unrequited love; they also omit Mark’s statement that Jesus’ friends thought he was beside himself”.
He explains further, that:
“The later gospels omit what might imply that Jesus was unable to accomplish what he willed…and also omit questions asked by Jesus which might be taken to imply his ignorance.”[3]
Metzger continues further by enumerating instances where Matthew and Luke soften Mark’s statements which might minimize the majesty of Jesus and replaced it with illustrations of a more alluring and authoritative Jesus.
In the story of the fig tree as found in Mark, the disciples did not notice the withering of the tree until next morning. For Matthew, this seemed less dramatic and unimpressive, and hence in his narrative the tree withered at once, leaving the disciples in shock and amazement.
Matthew and Luke were adamant in changing the words of Jesus. They wanted to make Jesus say what they wanted people to believe, “reflecting a later stage of theological understanding than that in Mark.” (Metzger, pg 83)
It seems quite clear that during both the pre and post gospel stages of the gospel traditions transmission, the available material was molded, filtered and changed in direct correlation to the Christological convictions of those who handled the traditions.
It is important to stress that this is not a case of the evangelists’ mere differing in emphasis; rather there are numerous occasions when the later gospel writers go out of their way to modify and alter the earlier version.
Therefore, if we wish to come close to the historical Jesus in the gospels, it is a good starting point to compare the stories in the various gospels, to discern where the story has altered.

What American Muslims Ought to Do?

American Muslims have a great role to play in this era of trial and tribulation. A second attack in America from Muslim extremists will be devastating to Americans and all of us. No one would suspect them to threw a few bombs. If they would do something it will be quite spectacular as the Americans officials say.

Many Muslim Americans will not only die during such attacks but those who survive will be persecuted like no tomorrow. I honestly tried to drag the carpet from under Ben Laden groups and asked the Jihadists to leave him and follow me. If you noticed I am offering an alternative way compared by that of Ben Laden. But they have a mind of their own.

It is very likely a lot of Muslim Americans know about me and my blog. They however are reluctant to talk to me. I can understand that since I am quite bold in attacking the west and the Arab tyrants. Unfortunately you may not be safe ignoring and avoiding me. The opposite could be true.

This is my plan to how safely can change the world:

1- We have to express our anger about the Jihadists tactics.

2- We have to know the American policies that created the Jihadists. Please read in my blog the third structure and Why Arab and Muslims despise the American policies. We do not need to repeat that over and over the Americans know.

3- We have to work with the west but keeping our doubts. They are the one who created that. They had talked for decades about democracy and were supporting our tyrants in their closed meetings as politicians and CIA operatives.

4- Though many American politicians are good people we have to be wise and pragmatic.

5- We are not asking the west to come and fight with us and remove the tyrants. We are asking for them not to conspire against us let us do our politics. Shamefully an Israel politician was talking to the American Jews to stand with the Arab tyrants though the interest of Israel with the moderate Muslims and not the tyrants. Most Jews I would suspect will be with Moderates to see us liberated from tyranny that is what Judaism teaches.

6- I would not tell Muslims what to do but I would explain to them the situation and listen to what they would say. Our decisions should be through through dialogue and consensus. That is what Quran teaches us.

7- The American government is spying on most Muslims. We have nothing to hide. We are seeking political power that can change the world peacefully. We do not see the answer to conflicts in bombing people.

8- With my respect to the two presidential candidates I do not see them have answer to our problems in the Arab and Muslim world. In fact they need us as a new front.

9- During the Bush administration which is ending in few months they tried to suppress me. They thought I may be Al Mahdi Al Muntazer and they would like to protect their allies particularly the Saudi king for sake of oil. Interestingly the oil prices are going quite high and the Saudi king did not help them to get it down. Every time they think or conspire against me God show them they are wrong. See how they are loosing every day for not adapting my Taman Health Plan in lives, money and exhaustive health care system. They still do not believe that God sent me to them.

10- We have Taman Health Plan that is our gift to the American people. God gave it to me to free my people and we can use it to advance our political agenda. If I do not have this plan very likely I will be in a jail in the middle east, watch the movie rendition.

11- Muslims have to know that we are at the end of time, our Quran is the truth and God promised us to inherit the earth.

24:55 Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.

Why Christians Should Love Islam?

Islam is not the enemy of Christianity and Muslims are not Anti-Christians. These are the things that I would reason why Christians should love Islam:

1- The praise of Jesus and his mother Mary is great in Islam.

2- Muslims are happily waiting for Jesus second coming.

3- Muslims follow Jesus teachings more than a lot of people in the world.

4- Muslims are well passioned about the ten commandments and get angry about God ten commandments to Moses that Jesus stressed very well.

5- Muslims like many conservative Christians are for family values and pro-life for babies and pro-choice at time of gathering of the man and his wife.

6- Muslims like many Christians in the left for fighting aggressively the world wide poverty.

7- Muslims look with respect to Christians religious leaders and believe in a wise dialogue between religions.

8- Real Muslims are against any discrimination or oppression of any religious or ethnic groups.

9- Muslims do not believe in conquering Christianity. Conversion to other religion is only through dialogue and Muslims love people to convert to their religion only when they are quite convinced. It does not help them for someone to convert in the morning to Islam quit at night. We actually encourage non-Muslims to read contradictions in Islam first before they convert.

Preparing Muslims for Al Mahdi.

If we to prepare the earth for Al Mahdi we have to do the following:

1- We have to go back to our Islam. We have to be moderate and wise.

2- We have to end Sunni and Shia clash. This how the enemies of Islam prevailed they incite wars between us.

3- End Fatah and Hamas fight. I just listened to an American politician saying that we are hitting Hamas by Fatah.

4- We have to stand strong against the Arab tyrants. That is how the west controlled the Arab masses by supporting tyrants. We can not fight them or have revolutions against them but we can win more of people around them as intelligent officers, army, police, universities... We have to prepare ourselves to pull the rug from under their feet. Most Muslims even in high power would prefer to be with Al Mahdi than the tyrants. They would not loose their eternity for fake people.

5- We should not declare war against the west. We will never win a military war and we are not called for a military war. We should conduct a political war and we are able to win it.

6- We have to unite first. We have as moderates expose the plan of some in the west to incite radicalization in the Muslim world then declare widespread war against Islam.

7- We should not fall in the plans of some in the west. They want simply to argue that the best course of world politics is to keep the Muslim and Arab world like it is. Any major restructure would jeopardize their interest.

8- The fact is the state of the world is maintained by the rich elites of the world. We can not fight them but we can pull the rug from under their feet by having more support for us.

9- To have more support we have to reach the good and fair people of major religions and the liberals. We have to make our case for them and win their support.

10- We have to understand that the elites are using the Christians right so if anyone has a plan to the world they would fight him as the anti-Christ for the greed of power and money of the elites. They would even use Muslims against someone who is pro-Mahdi.

11- We have to win a lot of Christians right to our case many misunderstood the prophecies and the religion of Islam.

12- Many in the west know that the Islamic giant is waking up and they are trying to oppress him. Many do not even believe in God but the power in their hands and the money in their banks.

13- Muslims have a lot of people to recruit to Islam. We have a lot of people who would agree on our call for justice and equality. The elites are few but they are controlling many in the world particularly the Christians right who are by any standards good people.

14- The elites are conducting a campaign against Islam. They do not take in account that Islam is the religion of the strong God of Israel they are not fearful of the day of judgment.

15- The peace we are looking for is not acceptable by the elites. They are making their money by selling weapons to the Arab countries and Israel. They are not keen in seeing peace in this area. They are for wars and more wars.

16- Iran has to play the world politics cautiously. The elites want another war to quell the Muslims and unite the west.

17- Muslim masses can not do much since we do not have the Mahdi yet but God would not change people until they change themselves. We have to go back to Islam we have to be good Muslims we have to be ready with our hearts and minds for major change in our spiritual and political lives.

"Verily Allah will not change the condition of people until they change it themselves." - Qur'an 13:11.
