The Bible and the Quran: Which You Believe More?

When Muslims and Christians stuck in their religious dialogue each one rightly use his book as the decisive reference. This is an inherited bias. So the most important question in religious dialogue is which reference is the decisive one. Let us examine the differences between both books:
1- According to the author Dr. Gary Miller: The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Qur'an is a dictation. The speaker in the Qur'an - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history. The Bible consists of 66 small books. About 18 of them begin by saying: This is the revelation God gave to so and soÂ… The rest make no claim as to their origin. 2- The Quran dictated to Muhammad by God in 23 years, the bible is inspired in part by God over thousands of years and only partly so. The man who had the Quran dictated to him, has his life as open book recorded in precise matter than the writers of the Bible.
3- As Gary Miller indicated: The Quran make it clear that this book form God the verse. 2:2 "THIS DIVINE WRIT - let there be no doubt about it is [meant to be] a guidance for all the God-conscious". Compare that to one of the four accounts of the life of Jesus, Luke begins by saying: “many people have written about this man, it seems fitting for me to do so too”. That is all… no claim of saying “ these words were given to me by God here they are for you it is a revelation”, there is no mention of this. The Bible does not contain self-reference, that is, the word 'Bible' is not in the Bible. Nowhere does the Bible talk about itself.
4- Gary miller says as well: So that the Qur'an does not demand belief - the Qur'an invites belief, and here is the fundamental difference. It is not simply delivered as: Here is what you are to believe, but throughout the Qur'an the statements are always: Have you O man thought of such and such, have you considered so and so. It is always an invitation for you to look at the evidence; now what do you believe ?
The citation of the Bible very often takes the form of what is called in Argumentation: Special Pleading. Special Pleading is when implications are not consistent. When you take something and you say: Well that must mean this, but you donÂ’t use the same argument to apply it to something else. To give an example, I have seen it in publications many times, stating that Jesus must have been God because he worked miracles. In other hand we know very well that there is no miracle ever worked by Jesus that is not also recorded in the Old Testament as worked by one of the prophets. You had amongst others, Elijah, who is reported to have cured the leper, raise the dead boy to life and to have multiplied bread for the people to eat - three of thfavoritevourite miracles cited by Jesus. If the miracles worked by Jesus proved he was God, why donÂ’t they prove Elijah was God ? This is Special Pleading, if you see what I mean. The implications are not consistent.
5- The Quran has miracles both scientificallyifically and linguistically that the Bible is not up to.
6-The Bible has inconsistancies and the Quran do not. The verse "If it was not from God they would have found a lot of inconsistencies".

The Soul of Hajj: A Short Introduction to Pilgrimage

From www.aljazeerah.info
By Habib Siddiqui
Al-Jazeerah, December 17, 2006
Editor's Note:
Haj, or pilgrimage to Makkah, is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is required of capable Muslims once in a person's lifetime.

No annual event on the face of the globe, religious or non-religious, compares to hajj in terms of the sheer number of participants, duration of the event and the breadth of agenda. In spite of this fact, it has always remained equally fascinating and mysterious to not only non-Muslims, who are barred from entering the holy city, but also to millions of Muslims, who had not performed hajj.
What then is hajj? In essence, hajj is man’s evolution toward Allah; his return to Him. It is a symbolic demonstration of the philosophy of creation of Adam (AS: alayhis salam, peace be upon him), the first man. To further illustrate this, it may be stated that the performance of hajj is a simultaneous show or exhibit of many things. It is a show of creation. It is a show of history. It is a show of unity. It is a show of Islamic ideology. It is a show of Ummah, the community of Muslims. That is why, it is said in the Qur’an: “And proclaim unto mankind the hajj …. That they may witness things that are of benefit to them.” (22:27-8)
Just as in any other good show or movie or theatre-play, the following conditions prevail in hajj. Allah is the stage Manager. The theme portrayed is the actions of these main characters – Adam, Haw’a (Eve), Ibrahim (Abraham), Hajar (Hagar), Isma’il (AS), and Shaytan (Satan). The main scenes are – Masjid al-Haram, ‘Arafat, Mas’a (space between the mountains – Safa and Marwa), Mash’ar (area between ‘Arafat and Mina) and Mina. Important symbols are – Ka’ba, Safa, Marwa, day, night, sunshine, sunset, idols and rituals of sacrifice. The dress and make-up are – ‘Ihram, halq and taqseer (part of ceremonies of hajj involving cutting of hair and nails, afterward). Lastly, the player of the show is – YOU – the Hajji. You are the main feature of the performance. The role of Adam, Ibrahim, Isma’il (Ishmael) and Hajar in confrontation between Allah and Satan is all played by you. As a result, you are the hero of the show!
Hajj is a duty unto Allah for mankind, for him or her who can find a way or means to get there (Qur’an 3:97). It is not a tax on your wealth, but a duty. Thus, to qualify, you must be sane and wise to understand what you are getting into, and able-bodied to go through this task, and lastly, have the means or resources to perform hajj.
The rites of hajj are five – (1) ‘Ihram, (2) waiting at ‘Arafat, (3) Tawaf of the Ka’ba, (4) sa’iy or running between the Safa and the Marwa and (5) cutting or trimming of hair. Others are not pillars, although some may require kaffara or penalty, if not done. The person who puts on the ‘Ihram or cloth for either ‘Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) or hajj (greater pilgrimage) is called a Muhrim.

Al Mahdi Al Muntazer Is Fired.

By: Maged Taman

If Imam Al Mahdi to come today he will be fired at site. From my reading of Islamic prophecies he will be a politician and not a military guy. Through knowledge, wisdom and a lot of politics he will gather people for a peaceful coexistence. These are my reasons why he either quit or fired at site if he to come today:
1- Arab moderates are giving in to the west and Arab tyrants and will not push for drastic changes.
2- Extremists would inflame the Middle East and terror against the west would play well for the west agenda to maintain the status quo and the status of the Arab leaders.
3- The Iranian hard-liners are not helping to get a lot of moderates in the west and Israel to advance our cause for peaceful coexistence and proclaim the Islamic values of peace and justice.
4- Hamas and Fath are doing everything possible to undermine the cause of the Palestinian people. That is why I continue to be a strong disbeliever of the party system particularly in the Arab world.
5- The west would support El Mahdi agenda but for only limited progress and suppress him as long as they can. People daily life in the Arab world is a hell of life already. I do not think a regular American will not feel for them.
6- Still the hope is the west since a lot of people have close mentality to his, I hope they do not fire him as well.
7- The time of tribulation is man-made and is due to people going in different directions with no considerations to the others and lack of belief of very comprehensive agenda.

The Place of Qur'an in the World Literature

From: www.islamweb.net
The Holy Qur'an occupies a place of such eminence in Arabic literature as is not and cannot be enjoyed by any other piece of literature. The place so occupied by it has not been attained at any time by any other book anywhere. This Book has not only remained admittedly the standard of the language in which it is revealed, but has also originated a world-wide language which became the mother-tongue of vast countries and mighty domains. It produced a literature which is the basis of the culture of powerful nations from one end of the world to the other. There was no literature properly speaking, in Arabic, before the Holy Qur'an. The few pieces of poetry that did exist never soared beyond the praise of wine or woman, or horse and sword, and can hardly be called literature at all. It was with the Qur'an that Arabic literature originated, and through the Qur'an that Arabic became a powerful language spoken in many countries and casting its influence on the literary histories of many others. without the Qur'an, the Arabic language would have been nowhere in the world. There are other considerations which entitle the Holy Qur'an to a place of eminence to which no other book can aspire. This book gives a masterly exposition of the fundamental truths of religion and a complete scheme of life, the existence and unity of God, the principles or reward and punishments for evil, the inevitability of life after death, the existence of heaven and hell, the truth and necessity of revelation, etc., etc.It offers a solution of the most bewildering problems of man's life on this earth, such as: the distribution of wealth; the relationship between individual and society; the question of man's true status and station in life; the balanced relationship between man and woman; whether his freedom is unbridled or he is accountable and answerable for his deeds; and all such other questions on which depends in any degree the happiness and advancement of man, and about which the human intellect cannot present a balanced and satisfactory solution, and which have been a major, rather the only source of all human misery and suffering throughout the long history of mankind. More wonderful still is the effect which the Holy Qur'an produced on the life of the Arab people. The transformation wrought by its influence is unparalleled in the history of mankind. The most revolutionary change was brought about in the lives of an entire people in an incredibility short span of time, that its, a period of not more than twenty-three years. The Qur'an found the Arabs as worshippers of idols, of trees and of heaps of sand; yet in less than a quarter of a century the worship of One God became the creed of the whole land, and polytheism in all its conceivable aspects had been wiped out from one end of the country to the other. It swept away all superstitions, and in their place, gave the most rational code of life the world was thirsty for. The Arabs who had stooped to take pride in ignorance were, as if by a magician's wand, transformed into the lovers of knowledge, drinking deep at every fountain of learning. And this was directly the effect of the teachings of the Qur'an which not only appealed to reason, but also declared man's thirst for knowledge to be insatiable. The Holy Qur'an did not accomplish the transformation of the individual alone. Equally, it brought about a transformation of the family, of society, of the entire peoples. Out of the warring elements of the Arab race, the Holy Qur'an welded a nation, united and full of life and vigour, before whose onward march the greatest kingdoms of the world crumbled! This way the Holy Qur'an effected a transformation of humanity itself, a transformation material as well as moral, an awakening intellectual as well as spiritual. There is no other book which has brought about a change so deep and everlasting in the lives of men. By: Begum A. B. Wakf [From: Islam, An Introduction]

Is the Holy Quran Muhammad’s invention ?

From www.55a.net
By DR :Abd Al-Raheem Al-Shreef
h.D. of the science of Qur’an and its interpretation
Translated by May Saleh
Revised By Magdy Abd Al-Shafy
Many critics of Islam throughout their continuous searching to find a human source to the Holy Qur'an, their imagination conducted them to the idea that the Holy Qur'an is prophet Muhammad's invention for three purposes:
1. To facilitate his domination over his followers.
2. To frighten the hypocrites, the unbelievers and those who disobey his orders.
3. To permit his pleasures.
To answer this fallacy we say:
The allegation that the Holy Qur’an is out of prophet Muhammad’s passions and imaginations is the weakest one of their suspicions. Are million of Arabs’ mothers unable to give birth to one like him (prophet Muhammad PBUH)? Were all his life circumistances qualified him to be in peace of mind, happy and sitting on his sofa .. holding a piece of peaper and pen and writing some verses of the Holy Qur’an?! What a single human can do, certainly a group of human can do too. So, Why they did not do that?
Also, there are many replies concerning this allegation ;these are:[1]
1. The style of the Holy Qur’an is different from that of the Noble Hadeeth, certainly a person , irrespective of his qualifications , can impossibly produce sentences with different style at the same time. Allah’s Messenger is a human being ,who could be angry, happy, sad and so on .. but you can see the difference clearly between the prophetic Noble Hadeeth , that he said and what he told us that it is a Holy Qur’an.
If the Qur’an and the Hadeeth have the same source, it will be very difficult to differentiat between their styles and their composition .
And why Muhammad did not claim that his Hadeeth is a Qur’anic verses in spite of the fact that it is also inspired by Allah. [2]
We cannot say that prophet Muhammad had two different styles, a very ornamented and decorated one which is for the Holy Qur’an and an inferior one for the Noble Hadeeth. Meanwhile most of the Holy Qur’an was brought down to prophet Muhammad unexpectedly, he is hates speech decoration more than any one , and we must not forget that we are talking about the golden age of Arabic when the Arabs’ instinct and sense were free from any kind of grammatical mistakes.
1-Show us a person who has a talent of speech and then write down his style characteristics. Then ask him to change his style into another one and write its characteristics too. Ask him to write a third one ... so he will never be able to abandon his first style; because style is something innate in any person on expressing the meaning. As long as a person has a special way in expressing the meaning, his performance would have inescapable characteristic.. [3]
2. When you observe the prophet’s biography (Seerah) you can notice his great fear of Almighty Allah, and his devoutness. Therefore, it is impossible for him to leave lying and cheating on people, then to lie and cheat on Allah.
3. What does an ordinary person want by pretending prophethood, if he is a liar? No more than some honor and money. While Quraish offered to Allah’s Messenger the most extreme things that any Arabic imagination could wish at that time, (money, honor, women…) but he left all of these and slept on a straw mat which affected his honorable body by leaving some lines on it, and he was exposed to many assassination attempts. He fought the polytheists.. although he could live in glory and bliss, if he gave up the calling for Islam.
4. The different Qur’anic miracles whether (illustrative, scientific, invisible or legislative) were behind the reach of any human being .
5. The Holy Qur’an does not contain any important events concerning Prophet Muhammad’s life or any names of his lovers or his closest persons such as ( his parents, his children, the earlier muslims, his wives..etc) even his name was not mentioned more than four times in the Holy Qur’an.
6. There are many verses of blame against Prophet Muhammad in the Holy Qur’an.
7. Prophet Muhammad underwent many problems and cases which demanded an immediate answer such as the slander incident concerning his wife “A'ishah may Allah be pleased with her” and the three who did not join the Tabuk expedition… also, his wife Khadejah “may Allah be pleased with her”, his uncle Abu Taleb and his son Abraham died without any indication concerning their death in the Holy Qur’an to console him
Moreover, the Holy Qur’an does not refer to his marriage to the believers’ mother Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) whereas, his marriage to the believers’ mother Zienb (may Allah be pleased with her) is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an for its relation to a special Islamic legislation.
8. He did not obligate his followers to his personal opinons like: the story of fertilizing the palm tree[4], and his frequent cosultation to his followers on many occasions confirm that.
9. The Holy Qur’an stated that if it had been the prophet Muhammd’s invention, he would not have written any hard word according to his pleasure. As Almighty Allah says : (And you were not expecting that the Book (this Qur’an) would be sent down to you, but it is a mercy from your Lord.)[28:86]. of course, it is a hard word as Allah says :( Verily, We shall send down to you a weighty Word (i.e. obligations, laws) [73:5].

Even, if the matter was in his hand , he would send down words complying with their requirements, but this is inappropriate. Almighty Allah says: (And if you do not bring them a miracle (according to their (i.e. Quraish-pagans') proposal), they say: "Why have you not brought it?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (the Qur'ân) is nothing but evidences from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe).[7:202]. Verily, Prophet Muhammad did not response to their demands in order to make them follow the evidence and the guidance, as a mercy for people who believe and to be sure that he is not the source of this revelation.
Glory to Allah who converts their fallacies evidence against them!

10. Another evidence is that the Holy Qur’an was sent down separated in 23 years and was arranged in a very wonderful and accurate style without any flaw, contradiction or any change in its rhetoric. All of these could never have been produced by an ordinary human being known with his natural deficiency.

11. This suspicion indicates that there are a hiden knowledge inside Prophet Muhammad’s mind, so from where did he obtain this former knowledg ? I have discussed above the invalidity of the suspicion that its source is either human or Jinn.
11. The Holy Qur’an enjoins many hard worships and prohibits a lot of pleasures that any human being eager to, while Quraish did not find any difficulty in doing it . It is incredible that Prophet Muhammad’s desire forced him to pray most of the night and to fast many days of the month connecting the day with the night without breaking fast … or to forbbid himself from drinking alcohol, usury, wearing gold and silk, accepting charity and to inherit his children (which is spechial for him because he is a prophet).
12. Prophet Muhammad could frighten his followers – if we assume he invented the Holy Qur’an for this purpose – but .. is there any human being all over the world would intimidate himself from the agony of hell, or facing many risks by living in a place full of enemies (where the hiden enemies more than the apparent ones) and without any bodyguards? –In fact this what prophet Mohummed did .
See what Almighty Allah says: (O Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him))! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allâh will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allâh guides not the people who disbelieve).[5:67]

This self sincerity led to another sincerity with others.. as Almighty Allah says : (And when Our Clear Verses are recited unto them, those who hope not for their meeting with Us, say: "Bring us a Qur'ân other than this, or change it." Say (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) "It is not for me to change it[5] on my own accord; I only follow that which is revealed unto me. Verily, I fear the torment of the Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) if I were to disobey my Lord(15) Say (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) "If Allâh had so willed, I should not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you. Verily, I have stayed amongst you a life time before this. Have you then no sense?(16) So who does more wrong than he who forges a lie against Allâh or denies His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)? Surely, the Mujrimûn (criminals, sinners, disbelievers and polytheists) will never be successful!(17)). [10: 15:17]
Certainly, our Prohet Muhammad is honest, for the content of the Holy Qur’an does not belong to any creature (mankind or jinn), rather it is confirmed by Almighty Allah , God say in this regard what means : (And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) Ruh (a Revelation, and a Mercy) of Our Command. You knew not what is the Book, nor what is Faith? But We have made it (this Qur'ân) a light wherewith We guide whosoever of Our slaves We will. And verily, you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path (i.e. Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism). [42:52]
Any spirit longing to find the truth, would believe in that and would be confident by the lowest thought and searching.. but the passions, the lack of discernment and the deception of some unfair researchers could blind it, Almighty Allah says : (Those who disbelieve say: "This (the Qur'ân) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) has invented, and others have helped him at it. In fact they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie(4) And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon(5) Say: "It (this Qur'ân) has been sent down by Him (Allâh) (the Real Lord of the heavens and earth) Who knows the secret of the heavens and the earth. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful(6).) [25:4:6]

Besides the envy which is mentioned in the following chapter : (Many of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even, after the truth (that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allâh's Messenger) has become manifest unto them. But forgive and overlook, till Allâh brings His Command. Verily, Allâh is Able to do all things).[2:109]

[2] Al-Bukhari narrated in pilgrimmage (Al-hajj) chapter (1789): "A man came to the Prophet while he was at Ji'rana. The man was wearing a cloak which had traces of Khaluq or Sufra (a kind of perfume). The man asked (the Prophet ), 'What do you order me to perform in my 'Umra?' So, Allah inspired the Prophet divinely and he was screened by a place of cloth. I wished to see the Prophet being divinely inspired. 'Umar said to me, 'Come! Will you be pleased to look at the Prophet while Allah is inspiring him?' I replied in the affirmative. 'Umar lifted one corner of the cloth and I looked at the Prophet who was snoring. (The sub-narrator thought that he said: The snoring was like that of a camel). When that state was over, the Prophet asked, "Where is the questioner who asked about 'Umra? Put off your cloak and wash away the traces of Khaluq from your body and clean the Sufra (yellow color) and perform in your Umra what you perform in your Hajj (i.e. the Tawaf round the Ka'ba and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwa). "
Islam opponents’ suspisions and fabrications and anulled them, Muhammad Metwali Al-Shaarawi, p 38.
Muslim narrated in virtues chapter (2363) : “The Prophet passed by a group of people who were fertilizing the palm trees and said: it is better if you do not fertilize these palm trees. The narrater said: bad dates (shaess) grew. Then the Prophet passed them again and said: what is the matter with your palm trees? They said : because you said earlier “it is better if you do not fertilize these palm trees” and we did so. The Prohet said: ‘you know more than me about your present life”.
Shaess means the date with soft kernel or without kernel at all .
[5] Al-Zamakhshari talked in his book ‘Al- Kshaf” about the reason behind Quraish unbelievers’requirements : “the unbelievers’suggestion of replacement and changing is out of greed and to test him. That because if he makes any replacement: Allah will either perish him and they will escape or to not perish him and they will make fun of him and this replacement will be an evidence against him and a correction for his fabrication”.

Quran Study: Signs of God in the Qur'an

From www.islamfromwithin.org
In this lecture we will study what kinds of evidences are mentioned in the Quran for God’s existence and oneness. These verses are all talking about ‘signs of God’ that are found in the creation. Let us begin by a brief introduction to what the Quran is.
There are 114 chapters in the Quran. The Quran explains reality, yet refers us to the creation for the evidences. The one speaking in the Quran is the one who has created the universe. So if there is any discrepancy between the Quran and what we observe in the creation, either Quran’s claim is wrong, or our understanding of the creation is wrong. Most of the books that we read say that: although Muslims claim that Quran is God’s word, in fact it is Muhammad’s word. So they read the Quran as Muhammad’s word. Muslims keep emphasizing that Prophet Muhammad was an illiterate man, and also if you look at the language of the Quran, it is very evident that the style of language is completely different than Prophet Muhammad’s words. In 23 years time, the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. He has not changed even the punctuation of the letters, nor place of any words. And at the end of the 23 years, there was a complete book. This revelation has never been revised, as one would revise the first draft of a poem. Prophet Muhammad rejected the traditions of his society, as Jesus rejected the practices and ideas of the Rabbis and the money collectors…etc. When Prophet Muhammad was receiving revelation he was almost in an extraordinary state, not using his reason and free will to correct things. So can a person keep consistency throughout 23 years when he was in such a state? Thus, the Quran, from the very beginning, is extraordinary. It is not manmade, but God’s revelation. It is not poem, nor prose. It is very rhythmic, beautiful. It has been memorized by believers for 14 centuries. All people who have studied the Quran, from Spain to China, found it extraordinary, and wrote commentaries on it, not finding any discrepancies in it.
All the news that the Quran brings related to the creation is to let us know about the World of Unseen (alemu ghayb). The Quran brings the news about God, God is describing Himself, letting the people know who their Creator is. Whatever news the Quran brings about the Artist of the creation, or before and after the creation of this universe, it shows the evidences from the art/creation itself. Muslims might sound as if they are materialistic, because even when they talk about spiritual life, they still talk about the universe, descriptions of beauty in the creation, earth and the heavens. It seems like they are not religious or they are not in fact talking about God. Especially when reading the Sufi writings, it is as if they are talking about the love between creatures. But they are in fact talking about the love of the Creator towards the creatures and vice versa. They are looking at the art yet describing the Artist. People expect them to talk about do’s and don’ts, yet they talk about love. It is because Quran brings the evidence for its message from the creation. If you present a bunch of flowers to a Muslim, he/she would say ma’shallah (What God willed). S/he sees the flower but talks about God, this is the teaching of the Quran.
“74. Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error." 75. So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude. 76. When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." 77. When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray." 78. When he saw the sun rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sun set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to God. 79. "For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to God" (Quran, Al-Anam (Cattle), 6:74-79).”
When we are reading this verse, God, in the Quran is talking to us/to me. Abraham here is me. So I am supposed to read all these words, as if God is talking to me directly.

The Quran is the word of God

All that we have seen so far shows us one clear fact: the Qur'an is such a book that all the news related in it has proved to be true. Facts about scientific subjects and the news given about the future, facts that no one could have known at the time, were announced in its verses. It is impossible for this information to have been known with the level of knowledge and technology of the day. It is clear that this provides clear evidence that the Qur'an is not the word of man. The Qur'an is the word of the Almighty God, the Originator of everything and the One Who encompasses everything with His knowledge. In one verse, God says on the Qur'an "If it had been from other than God, they would have found many inconsistencies in it." (The Qur'an, 4:82) Not only are there no inconsistencies in the Qur'an, but every piece of information it contains reveals the miracle of this divine book more and more each day.
What falls to man is to hold fast to this divine book revealed by God, and receive it as his one and only guide. In one of the verses, God calls out to us:
"And this is a Book We have sent down and blessed, so follow it and have fear of God so that hopefully you will gain mercy." (The Qur'an, 6:155)
In His other verses, God remarks:
"Say: 'It is the truth from your Lord. Let anyone who wishes to, believe, and let anyone who wishes to, disbelieve...'"(The Qur'an, 18:29)
"No indeed! Truly it (the Qur'an) is a reminder, and whoever wills pays heed to it." (The Qur'an, 80:11-12)

Ex-Reformer Speaks Out: The Cartoon of the Prophet.

By: Maged Taman

The Ex-Reformer Maged Taman in his blog writes: The clash of civilization is no doubt is well manifested with what happened with the cartoons of prophet Muhammad. The west needs to understand all of these factors:

1- Religion is sacred to all Muslims and the prophet is our way to God and the Islamic religion. All prophets are sacred and Muslims love Muhammad (PBUH) more than themselves. If you make a fun in a cartoon in one of them he would likely go after you. For their prophet it is outrageous.

2- The idea itself of making fun of someone in a carton is not even accepted yet to most Muslims. You see in the west politicians take it rather easy since freedom of speech has been there for long time. I highly suspect if someone would made fun of one of the Arab tyrants in the tyrant country he will be somewhere or nowhere that we can find him.

3- The anger of Muslims against the west is well appreciated even in the western counties. This is not a paranoia if the Muslims would have oppressed the west they would have done the same. Read in my blog the third structure.

4- No doubt that the extremists and the Arab tyrants feed the anti-American sentiment. All are playing billiard and all are hitting same balls for different reasons.

5- Besides for the Muslims to feel united even in one thing like the anger against carton against their prophet is a deep desire that they are yarning for.

6- The piece meal approach of America in spreading democracy is not even convincing the west. After the repression for long years the extremists that the west created are ready to jump in and take over. The made the game of freedom is even geopolitically dangerous.

Sincerely I do not know what is the sincerity of the west.So what is the right approach to these cartoons against Muslims. If I am one of the top leaders or imams I would have used a step up approach:

1- I would go to the Cartoon makers and sit with them as well with the magazine editor and explain to them how Muslims value there prophets and who they are very faithful that he was sent from God who created us and the universe and can destroy us all. They do not need to believe in our prophet but they have to accept our strong faith on him. Besides we do not even have a free speech and no one can touch the tyrants and now you go after their beloved prophet. I would asked them for a political apology like expressing their unawareness of the Islamic traditions and culture. This is not free speech versus Muslims intimidation. It is understanding how the matter is serious to Muslims even if you do not agree with them and your consideration why should someone put his finger in the wound that make someone else to feel more pain.

2- If they would decide against our view points I would talk to the Politicians in the same country and I would ask them for a political resolution.

3- For sure I would not do anything violent. The prophet himself was scolded harassed and was stoned when he was in early years spreading the message of Islam. He did not look back and try to get every one he suffered from. Actually his worst enemies became his best friends. His life was all about the message and not the messenger. That is why all Muslims believed he was a true prophet from God wants all the good to humanity.

4- Suing the magazine or boycotting of the country that published the cartoons would be my last steps. For the common comment why moderate Muslims are not standing to extremists we are doing a good job by laying out ideas. Besides, We hate you all the oppressor Arab tyrants, the extremists/terrorists/jihadists/freedom fighters and the American politicians(just kidding).

My Religion is Kindness.

By: Maged Taman

I loved this simple phrase of the Dalai Lama "My religion is Kindness". I was always kind myself in all my life. Kindness is a beautiful negative moral. It means that you are a very benign and harmless person. You may take a lot of unpleasant abuse, oppression and pain from a lot of mean-spirited people and a lot of time you may let it go because you are dissent or they overpower you. In the contrary to "The Dalai Lama kindness religion" a lot of people their religion is "being mean spirited". Their primary religion could be Islam, Christianity or Judaism or any other religion. If there is a morality per capita equation the Jews will be the most moral. This is at least my experience in United States. Of all Jews I met there were only two mean spirited and prejudice I recall, one I met in New Haven,CT and one in Providence, RI. For Muslims I had hundreds of mean people I met when I was in my country. In the United States I would guess I had may be 20-30 Christians. Mean people wait to cause you pain at any potential window. They usually do it to the kind who is less likely to cause them pain. Like good people who enjoy doing the good, mean people also enjoy doing harm. In both the good and the evil there is enjoyment. The means are stupid they listen to their demons and cause the world to be more hostile and they carry a lot of sins when they meet their God. The reasons to be mean are a lot including being prejudice, jealous, inadequate or prime-evil. There is no law to persecute the means. In fact the person who is mean to you is your boss, co-wroker or a family member who overpowers you so you are less able to revenge. The good thing we have a day of judgment that we will face all the means. Until this comes we have to spread morality vertically. Being mean is another form of Injustice that fills the earth now. The means main skill is to pick on people to humiliate them. Some are well experienced and talented in that. It is most dangerous in schools when some students are picking on a vulnerable student causing him outburst of violence. With guns available to a lot of Americans it ends in a deadly shout out. Since it is difficult to spread morality horizontal we would need a new political and moral systems that insure the most dissent in the political positions regardless of their faith. We need the baseline of religions morality and kindness to prevail. It is amazing when you see some of the Arab tyrants come to the United States pretending to be very polite and they would torture any one stand in their way in their countries. My religion is Kindness like the Dalai Lama but I want it to have it as a positive moral. This means most people will follow the kindness of religions. So if you are mean you will be the one who is in fear and danger and not the opposite. Kindness should not be regarded as weakness. When this happens you will not find means and bullies in the schools, the political scene or anywhere. We will be able to strike the ruthless with the rod of our mouth and with the breath of our lips we will slay the wicked. Then the wolf will be a guest of the lamb and the leopard shall lie down with the kid.Maged Taman.

Zaman International: Conference of Al Mahdi.

Committee Letter In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“And We desired to bestow a favor upon those who were deemed weak in the land, and to make them the Imams, and to make them the heirs. And to grant them power in the land.” (28:5-6)
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatollah,If we look at the world today, we observe that oppression and injustice have escalated to unprecedented levels. There is no sign indicating a change in this dreadful course. However, as all divine religions and great intellectuals have foretold us, the reappearance of the universal savior is drawing closer day by day. The reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi, the 12th Imam of Ahlul-Bayt, is inevitable, and according to many signs, it may be imminent.
As the Holy Qur’an and the copious traditions of Ahlul-Bayt have expressed, we must make the effort to know the Imam of our time. We must become familiar with him, for we will be asked about him in the grave and on the Day of Judgment. Our answer will determine our final destination.
How much do you know about your Imam? Do you know enough about your leader to claim you are his follower? What can you expect from your leader, and what does your leader expect from you? Why did he disappear in the first place and when will he reemerge? What do other religions say about him? The answers to these questions and many others are crucial to one’s success in this life and in the afterlife.
In order to establish a closer relationship with our master Imam Al-Mahdi, we humbly present the “While We Wait” conference. The purpose of this conference is to understand Islam from a new, unique and complete perspective. It aims to create an educational and interactive environment in which our primary responsibilities are outlined and discussed. As the time for the reappearance of the awaited savior, Imam Al-Mahdi, draws closer, how have we been preparing? The conference serves to provide the opportunity for a higher level of learning taught from the window of Imam Al-Mahdi—a new and unique window that will portray the amazing beauty of Islam and extract its hidden treasures.
“While We Wait” is the perfect place to start from scratch and compensate for all those years we have abandoned our responsibilities towards Imam Al-Mahdi. It is an opportunity to make up for our shortcomings with our leader. Furthermore, it serves to assist us in determining what our priorities are, how we can cope with living in the west, and how to remain steadfast in the face of modern challenges.
Participating in this event, which will be set around the date of Imam Al-Mahdi’s joyful birth, is the first step towards demonstrating support for the Imam. World renowned speakers will impart their knowledge and expertise. The conference will have numerous workshops and breakout sessions so you can share your thoughts and ask questions that help you understand the concept of the savior better, and understand Islam in greater depth. Do not miss out on this exciting event that will celebrate the birth of the universal savior who will revive the earth by filling it with justice and equity, after it has been filled with injustice and oppression. Save the Date……“While We Wait”

Can We Take Israel Off The Table.

By: Maged Taman

There is nothing in Islam or Judaism that make us and the Jews the children of Ishmael and Isaac enemies. Both religions are from the same God and both want us to be good human beings. It is well known fact and God's plan to have the Jews return to the holy land at the end of times. I do not know where is the obsession of eliminating Israel came from. The scary thing is that some people wants to see an Armageddon so Jesus would return. The mission that Jesus wants us to adapt is to spread peace and lift oppression among us. We have to remember that God would not appreciate that we make widespread wars to bring peace. Wars should be our last resort and done with a lot of politics to bring it short. The Arab tyrants also uses the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to distract their people from their rights for prosperous and democratic countries. Arab and Muslims need to have a peaceful resolution of this conflict and grantee the security of Israel. After Israel did the treaty with Sadat they kept it for more than 25 years. They came to the holy land for a noble cause and the persecution of the Jews by Hitler made them more willing to die for a Jewish state. For Muslims there are a lot of good causes to live for. Prosperity and being righteous happy Muslim societies among the nations are great aims to Muslims. Islam is pro-life and wars are rarely needed unless we are obligated to. Thus Muslims have to take Israel off the table not of the map, have a life.

Pope renews Mideast cease-fire call

From CNN:
LES COMBES, Italy (AP) -- Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday renewed his appeal for an immediate cease-fire in the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon and encouraged all sides to start negotiations.
Benedict issued his latest plea as he greeted some 3,000 pilgrims in a meadow near his Alpine vacation retreat on a day that he had dedicated to prayers for peace in the Middle East. He reiterated his recent statements in support of Lebanese sovereignty and of Israel's right to live in peace.
"I renew with vigor my appeal to all sides in the conflict, so that they immediately cease fighting and allow the delivery of humanitarian aid, and so, with the help of the international community, they search for ways to begin negotiations," Benedict said.
"I take the occasion to reaffirm the right of Lebanese to the wholeness and sovereignty of the country, the right of the Israelis to live in peace in their state and the right of the Palestinians to have a free and sovereign country," the pope said.
The pontiff expressed special closeness to the "defenseless civilian populations, unjustly hit in a conflict in which there are only victims."
He said the victims included those in Israel's Galilee region who, he said, are "forced to live in (bomb) shelters," and the "great multitudes of Lebanese, who, yet again, see their country destroyed and who have had to abandon everything and flee elsewhere."
Benedict said he was praying that "the aspirations for peace by overwhelming majority of people can be realized as soon as possible" thanks to actions by their leaders.
He invited others to join him in prayer "so that the beloved peoples of the Middle East are able to abandon the path of armed conflict and construct, with the daringness of dialogue, a just and lasting peace."
The pope also renewed his appeal to humanitarian groups to help.
Benedict is vacationing in the Italian Alps until Friday, when he returns to the Vatican.

New World Order (Moral Utopia Project)

After I made a new plan to restructure the very complicated health care/Medicare/Medicaid and social security in America with a simple health plan that insure every one in America and save billions of dollars every year to the American people I felt that the current world political and economic systems are also very complicated and we have a seriously dangerous world now. We do not have a choice but to restructure the world. You will know how a serious thinker I am before you think I am paranoid if you read my health plan that can be ordered from www.Trafford.com. This plan is an unconditional gift from me to the American people, as well 50% of the profit of the book will go to the families of victims of 09/11. I welcome if any country can choose to apply it . I would ask just to keep my name on the plan (here it comes my little paranoia).Going to the world situation if you read and take the opinion of a lot of thinkers they will tell you the same about the great pitfalls of the current world system and the dysfunctional United Nation. Unfortunately most politicians over the world now adopt more reactive policies to crisis and disorganized short-term policies. A preemptive peace is what needs to be done. A new world system that insure preventing hunger, disease and wars before they happen need to be established. Terrorism and clash of civilizations can be easily contained by this new system. No one should be feared about it. Though I put here outlines of this system it is only possible by a thorough discussion by a lot of brilliant people all over the world. I believe much in the world wide democracy. I still see the simple tribe system is the best system of democracy. There is no parties, media or institutions but people simply sit together and discuss their affairs in a transparent environment. In Islam there is no certain system of government but simply the leader is elected by any fair way and a consultation system that get input from every individual is implemented. I am still surprised to see people are fearful of Islam, the terrorism is a very unique phenomena and as president Bush himself talked about the hopelessness under repression and tyranny and the need to free people and improve their daily life. I think however the path he is taking to combat terrorism and Iraq first then spread democracy will take very long years. My new world plan gets all problems solved in one project. Besides the global problems, it addresses the Palestine-Israel conflict, Iranian nuclear projects, Iraq and democracy all in the same time. The new system I am advocating is the one that connect the countries that are members to share the same values of democracy, free market and so forth. One such system can be called American Alliance. This alliance that can replace the current UN or progressively take over this institution. The entry in alliance is both by choice and any country can recede whenever it wants. We will need a national voting for that from the country to join the alliance. However it can not have WMD after joining or if to recede. Most people in the Arab/Muslim countries with having the Support of America will to join the alliance. We will simply overwhelm their governments. The country which would join the alliance has to follow the roles of this alliance. These roles are:1- Combating Satan (evil): though people talk a lot of God the world problem is that we are listening to Satan. God is waiting for us it is Satan that we need to outsmart. He wants all of us to be enemies and we end by destruction of the world and our civilization. You can see it well every one is going after his affairs and if we have a third world war every one will loose every thing he had worked for. It does not need a brainer that Satan and evil are winning now in our current world affairs.2- Harmony between all people: Christians, Jews, Muslims and other religions.3- Ten commandments/Major sins.4- Good deeds and morality.5- Honesty: dishonesty is behind every evil particularly governmental distrust, conspiracies and wars.6-Virtue: Islam handle this very well: one has to be faithful and not to sin and put the mechanisms to prevent sinning. But if one to sin he should not talk about it and not to be repeated. Talking about sins end by unfairly accusing people, give the sense that sin is everywhere so people sin more. It became a good way to get money from people to get them to sin and then blackmail them. No one in Islam is to spy or trash any one reputation and media could not talk about a sex life of an individual. Simply, no one should know or talk about any one sexual life, it is between him, God and people that are affected by this relation. Satan want us to sin and get the worse consequences of sinning. 7-Democracy. 8-Human rights.9-Women rights. Note for Muslim women they can work and go as high as they can. Islam protected them with the Islamic uniform and with separation in schools and work from men. The most common problems for women in the west are break of marriage due to infidelity and sexual abuse during work both can be avoided by separation of men and women at work places.10-Minority rights.11-Freedom of religion.12-Absence of corruption in all its forms.13-Absence of drug production, trafficking or dealing.14-Justice to every one.15-absence of any form of discrimination. The American Alliance will oversee most items. It could have anti-corruption section, human right section and so forth in the new UN.Democracy should be overseen in each country by insuring free election, free press and separation of power.A new political system I see is what I call it the consultation system. No doubt the party system has proved not only to be inefficient, but also a dangerous system for the following reasons:1- Most of dictators like Hitler and Saddam came through a new national party that incite peoples with crazy ideas for sake of that person greed to power, pseudo-heroism and glorification. Satan does his best job in the world through these evil people.2-Totalitarian systems like communism strengthen themselves through a party. Every tyrant needs two structures. The upper structure as I see it is the control of media, military, police and most of institutions. The lower structure is through the party which give the people the false feeling of democracy and in the same time get strong support from the people who will benefit from the system as a second army inside the communities so they continue to protect the system.3- Even in true democratic countries the party system is not working well. politicians are more occupied with politics than policies and for one party to take over the other party has to fail. It is the civilized war Satan is looking for. Many time the political process is not a continuum but new administrations are trying to undo what other ones have done.American politicians should consider that for our sake given above issues. Ultimately America gets dragged on by one way or another when one country political system breaks down. In the old days when people where fighting with swords we would have been well protected here in America. In the consultation system I purpose:1- Getting money out of politics and media.2- Politicians who are running for different positions do not belong to any party. Every one identifies himself by his own position. If you read my health and long term care plan you will find that we will get this very important policy to a great part out of the political struggle.3- In this system the politicians are well watched with unbiased and very independent and responsible media.4- The president role is more like a great consultant that gets the most experienced and brightest people to share in decision making. Decision making is more like a consensus and not a monopoly. The new economic system of the world for the American alliance: 1- Non interest based economy: lending in the Bible and Koran are supposed to lift up the poor. It is abused now it gets the rich people lend their money and make high profits from the poor. Example of such a new system is like selling a car with no interest that can be paid over three years. Same can be done with a lot of goods.2- New Banking system: banks including the federal banks will function by having availability all time through mutual agreement of supplying money with no interest among them and Federal bank. Money will be lent with no interest to public. A good credit will allow one to borrow higher money amounts. Banks will get profits by cost of service and by selling their mutual funds and other sorts of shares to the public instead of Cd's. But why should people give the money to banks with no interest. For different reasons they would do that, it is safest way to keep money, they will get certain benefits in the future like amount of money to burrow. I think many smart ideas will come from financial experts to have pouring of money in the new banking system. As well by the main Bank of Alliance to supply regular flow of money. One important motivation to keep money in banks is the global development and contributing to abundance of the new economic system and preventing wars.3- Investment will be mainly through stock market.4- As the economy is in full power in America it contracts after it expands. It is like a closed room the economy that can not get any bigger. In American alliance economy on the other hand, if the American economy is in full expansion money goes to other economies (spell over) that open new economies and strengthen the American dollar buying power. It is like having a new way to expand linearly the American economy. Suppose with one dollar you buy 5 apples. If the apples are grown in Israel/Palestine, Lebanon..... the one dollar could buy you 15 apples or more. 5- That is what I call economy of abundance compare that by the greedy capitalistic system now where people lend with interest rate. The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. In the Alliance or Utopia economy we are lifting every one and strengthening the buying power of dollar. Thus the rich is getting richer (remember money is what it can buy of services and goods, if you have a million dollars and no one is working in the world what you have is only papers).6-One currency economy: the American dollar will take over every other country currency and can be done gradually. In the future a dollar can have pictures of that country currency and change can be issued by the individuals countries for the small changes. One currency is very important in simplifying and encouraging investment in individual countries.7- You may say that Americans will loose jobs. In fact their dollar will have higher buying power and my Taman health plan will have money for every American insuring his health care and long term care kept aside. In fact he will be working less hours and enjoying traveling around the world.8- In order to develop a country the problem has always been the governments: either corruption, bureaucracy or lazy officials. In my plan good banking system will be first established in every country and money can be burrowed by people. Big cooperations usually goes after money that will help to develop these countries with burrowing, job creation and paying back cycles repeated over and over we will lift every one in these countries. As you see we will bypass the hands of the officials. The UN will help the big corporations to define resources and potential projects.9- I am for a simple Tax code like president Bush is seeking to do to be applied in each country. I actually like something in addition in Islam called Zakat or Gezia which in our American alliance can define poverty in each country and the poor defined by income divided by the number of households. People under poverty line get a certain amount of money (2.5% of yearly income of all well to do people go to the poor in same country). Except for my health care/long term care were we protect your money from you so you spend it and keep it only for health and long term care, I prefer people to have the money in their hands. Governments proved to us over the years not to do a good job with our monies. Why Americans should benefit from such alliance:1- Preventing third world war, we will be able to keep an eye on global politicians. Through the history America is the one ultimately has to face the bad guys as Hitler, Malosvic and Saddam.2- America is overwhelmed by the immigrants or potential immigrants.3- Resolving global terrorism.4- Developing appropriately the third world and combating poverty.5- Preventing ethnic cleansing and local wars before they start.6- Global environmental standards.7- Benefiting Americans corporations from the best way to invest and grow more.8- Solving Israel-Palestine conflict.9- Halting Iran and other Muslim countries acquiring WMD.10-Possible clearing of India and Pakistan of nuclear weapons.11-Simplifying control of the world. Though the project is large, it is much easier in next decades to control the world. Two complicated problems of the world in the same time could take all time of American politicians. We will be lift by diplomatic alliance with China and Russia. It will be ultimate dream if both as well to join the alliance. The Europeans through their own union or joining the new alliance are likely to continue not to pose threat to the civilized world. With all the world problems and the difficulties of the individual countries to solve their own problems we do not have choice but large alliances. As you see Utopia is not a fantasia it is a most do now.Why a country would like to join this American Alliance:1- Protection, a country will be protected by NATO. It will have a small army joining NATO. However it will maintain its police and other local force enforcement agencies.2- Get help during natural disasters.3- No one would let to die of hunger in the countries of alliance.4-Economic development.5- Freedom of speech, free market, bill of rights and other advantages mentioned above. We basically will be exporting America to the people with no need for them to come and take jobs from Americans. We will have an unlimited expansion of the American economy. Every country can still enjoy its culture and sovereignty. We will just be avoiding wars and maintaining an eye on global politicians so we do not see another Hitler or Saddam.People may think it is a Messianic dream, the truth is if we are realistic and pragmatic and look to the world from the geopolitical and economic mandate we will reach to the same conclusion. If you go to most third world countries you will find they share same problems and their governments can barely feed them. If I am promoting all of these ideas I should be considered a pro-Christ, please review the Christ teachings. The world is full of immense economical and political problems and major clash of civilizations. Suppression or exclusion of Muslims from the current political scene does not help the situation but inclusion and dialouge are the answer. Most important now is to open the dialouge. When people talk they will find out they are all humans and have the same goals in life. The desire of domination and excluding other civilizations is in fact fruitless. If the Messiah comes I will be happy to step aside and let him take over.Maged Taman

Eureka: Taman Health Plan.

Eureka: Taman Health Plan.
Taman Health Plan (can be ordered from www.trafford.com) is as simple as your ABC:What it covers? All Americans for Health Care and Long Term care.Who run it?As a big corporation it will have a central command "Human Health Services" in Washington and branches in the states "health departments". This will help us to provide standard health and long term care services to all Americans. What it replaces? All the current systems of HMO's, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. How it works? We are replacing all of the above systems with Health Credit Cards. Every American will have a health card with a corresponding account in the Bank of the plan. He will get a bank statement every two months. What these Cards?Card A: for all children.Card B: for all working group 18-65 years old.Card C: for Medicare above 65 years old.Card D: for few of card B, for all Card C if they run out of money in account.Card E: for few who will need expensive medicines and investigations. What cards pay for?Cards pay for all health care as outpatient (doctors fees, investigations, health products and medications) as well for the hotel part of hospitals and nursing homes. Thus credit card machines that are devoted to all these services will be in the corresponding places ( doctors offices, pharmacies, hospitals and nursing homes). What covers the medical part of hospitals and nursing home? The plan itself and not the cards. The plan will budget the medical part of hospitals and nursing homes. How the plan revenues, expenses and investments work?Revenues: first year all funds of Medicare and Social Security. Yearly revenues from taxes.Expenses: budget medical part of hospitals and nursing homes and pay for cards A, D and E.Investments: in wall street in diverse stocks (as mutual funds). What card B and C accounts come from? Most Americans will be in cards B and as they hit 65 years old their account will be continued but as Cards C. First year of the plan all of us will get bonus in our account ( B and C cards) from what each of us had accumulated over the years. Say we starting the plan 2006 and suppose I have with the government 200,000 dollars as my Medicare and social security that was withheld from me over the years. 70% or so of that will be the bonus of my account and 30% will go to the plan if we need to. Second year of the plan bonus of say 50,000 dollars will go to new card B comers ( 18 years old as the card B first issued). Then a yearly tax withholding say 5% of income or pay roll will go as 3% to the person card and 2% to the plan. Why cards?Cards will provide these functions:1- Eliminate bureaucracy.2- Will save more than 200 billion dollars a year paper work.3- Will insure all Americans.4- As every American has a medical record and a health card he will be shopping for his health care and understands well his medical condition and as he invests in his health he save the system a lot of wasted money.

Why Islam Did Spread Fast And Stayed Long?

Why Islam Did Spread Fast And Stayed Long? The straight answer to this question is: because it is real. The more sophisticated one will encompass multiple reasons. We always learn that life and even religion is not that simple:1- The reality of Islam: It is very reasonable attitude for humans to be suspicious and critical. Islam to a lot of Arabs and even non-Arabs is like a trade. Do you really want to pay to buy certain goods. Do you really want to spend a lot of time, effort and endurance for a true or false deal. Thus most people even who inherited the religion runs it well in their mind: Is it real or not.2- Fulfillment: the fulfillment in Islam is related to the spirituality of the religion and the materialistic fulfillment. You can easily have it both ways.3- The integration of life: Islam not only cause Muslims to live as better individuals and more holly but integrate them as a loving community.4- Living along non-Muslims: Like a good Jew when he will be in any community he will be looked at as the champ of equality, justice and human rights. Good Muslims are fare people who would require equality and justice for all.5- Honesty and transparency: unlike the Arab leaders now who plays politics in the dark. They promise their people justice and democracy and does every thing in the dark to get more control and greed over their people rights and wealth.6- Clean and pure life: people whatever their background if they would to live a pure and clean life they would feel rested, calm and happy. You give up a little materialism for a lot of spiritual gain and peaceful life.7- Islam believes in social classes: Though the best of us for God is the best in fear to God, Islam accepted the reality that we can not be all equal. For example in marriage Islam prefer you to marry from your same socio-economic level as an individual. But as a group Islam help us to tighten the gap between the rich and poor and teach us that best of us who has the best manners particularly with people who are weaker or less fortunate than him. For non-Muslims Islam did not break the rich or more affluent or the people. Even when they turn into Islam. The religion acknowledges the presence of classes. But it makes people look more beyond the classes. There is no social war in Islam. 8- God forgiveness for sinners: as in other major religions sins can drag man to hell and meanwhile no one can be so desperate that God would never forgive his sins whatever great they are. Thus religion particularly Islam has always an open door to sinners. Meanwhile it is against organized sinning. This is a community that all indulge into sins. Organized sin or overwhelming sin equates to God organized wrath and overwhelming wrath.9- Religion comes before personalities: For Muhammad (PBUH) the worst of hypocrites and unbelievers who were against him he never had a personal revenge against any of them. A lot of them became very good Muslims. They simply found it is something very different and it is not about the victory of Islam but about getting God word to all people and liberate all people from all kinds of tyranny. If you find tyrants or evil leaders in Islamic history it does mean that humanity has its evil even from any religion. 10- The leaders of Muslims as models: in early Islam were more pious and devotee to their religion. People looked at them as new breed of people. Most people looked seriously and studied seriously their religion. It is like the Gospel or good news of Jesus. There is God he connected again with another human (Muhammad) through his angel Gabriel. He is not a liar and not crazy. It is an astonishing story but more believable than an elephant that was an ant or the thousands of species that came from one atom or single cell.11- Removing all forms of oppression: there is no compulsion in religion. Simply God wants to go to him with your complete mental and spiritual will, There is no middle man in Islam you respect Imams but all your relation with God is one in one. There is no oppression of women, workers, minorities, foreigners.... Islam means that you submit to God but in the same time you liberate your brain and soul. You do not become under the oppression of sins, people, governments, religious institutions,... It means you live with freedom and dignity more a life of worshiping, awareness and wisdom.

Antisemitism is Racism: Harun Yahya.

Antisemitism is RacismTotally Contrary to IslamHARUN YAHYA (with some modifications):In the 20th century, antisemitism has signed its name to great disasters, one of the most horrible being the cruelty and murder inflicted by the Nazis on the Jews. Besides this, in many countries authoritarian regimes have targeted Jews and subjected them to cruel treatment. Fascist organizations have harassed Jews and arranged bloody attacks against them.In our times antisemitism is still an ideology which threatens world peace and targets the well-being and security of innocent people. So, how should a Muslim regard antisemitism? The answer is obvious. Every Muslim must oppose antisemitism as he would oppose every other racist ideology; he must resist this ideology of hatred and defend the rights of Jews as he would defend the rights of all other people. Every Muslim must recognize and defend the rights of Jews whether in Israel or in the diaspora to live in peace, to worship, to protect their identity and to express themselves.Antisemitism: The Product of Neo PaganismA basic fact that must be appreciated about antisemitism is that it is a pagan creed that no Muslim could ever espouse. In order to make this clear, we must examine the roots of Antisemitism. This term is generally understood as meaning "anti Jewish," but its basic meaning is a "hatred of Semitic peoples". The Semitic peoples are basically made up of Arabs, Jews and a few other Middle Eastern ethnic groups. There is a great similarity between the languages and cultures of the Semites; for example, Arabic and Hebrew are much alike. The second largest linguistic and racial group in the world is the Indo-European community of nations. Most of the countries of present day Europe have Indo-European roots. The pagan war god Wotan, one of the symbols of pagan barbarism and bigotry. All these various civilizations have had their prophets who proclaimed the existence and the unity of God and made His commands known. But when we examine recorded history, we see that Indo-European peoples from ancient times always believed in paganism. The Greek and Roman civilizations, the Teutons, Vikings and other Barbarian peoples living in southern Europe at that time were all polytheistic pagans. For this reason, these communities remained completely without moral guidance. Violence and savagery were regarded as praiseworthy; homosexuality and adultery were widely practiced. (The most important historical representative of Indo-European civilization was the Roman Empire, and we must not forget that it was a savage society that delighted in seeing people torn apart in the arenas.)These peoples who ruled Europe encountered monotheism through Jesus Christ, a prophet sent to Semitic people. Sent as a prophet to the children of Israel, the teaching of Jesus spread throughout Europe in the course of time and all the formerly pagan peoples gradually accepted Christianity. But in the 18th and 19th centuries, with the weakening of Christianity and the growth of ideologies and philosophies that promoted the rejection of religion, a strange current of thought circulated in Europe- Neo-Paganism. The leaders of this movement claimed that European societies must reject Christianity and return to ancient pagan beliefs. According to the adherents of Neo-Paganism, the way European societies understood morality in ancient pagan times (i.e., a warlike, pitiless, bloodthirsty, unbounded barbarous morality), was much superior to the morality they adopted when they accepted Christianity (i.e., a humble, compassionate, peace-loving and religious morality).Nietzshce was an antisemite, because he sympathized with the pagan culture of violence and hated Theistic religions. One of the most important representatives of this trend is also one of the greatest theorists of Fascism- Friedrich Nietzsche. He hated Christianity; he believed that it had destroyed the warlike spirit of the German people, that is, it's very essence. The adherents of Neo-Paganism were hostile to Christianity; at the same time, they adopted a great hatred for Judaism which they saw as the source of Christianity. Indeed, they saw Christianity as the disseminator of Jewish ideas throughout the world and regarded it as a kind of Jewish plot. So, this Neo-Paganism, on the one hand incited hostility against religion and, on the other, gave birth to fascism and antisemitism. Especially when we look at the foundations of the Nazi ideology, we can see clearly that Hitler and his confreres were, in fact, pagans.Nazism: 20th Century Paganism One of the greatest roles in the development of the Nazi ideology was played by a thinker by the name of Jorg Lanz von Liebenfels. Lanz fervently believed in the ideas of Neo-Paganism. He was the first person to find in ancient sources the swastika which was later to become the symbol of the Nazi party. The Ordo Novi Templi (Order of the New Temple), an organization founded by Lanz, devoted itself totally to the rebirth of paganism. Lanz freely proclaimed that he worshiped Wotan, the imaginary "War God" of the ancient German people. He thought that the worship of Wotan was the true religion of the German people and that Germans could be saved only by returning to this religion.Nazi ideology developed on the road prepared for it by Lanz and other devotees of Neo-Paganism. One of the most important Nazi ideologues, Alfred Rosenberg, thought that Christianity could not provide the spiritual energy needed by the new Germany being established by Hitler, and declared openly that the German people must return to their ancient pagan religion. According to Rosenberg, when the Nazis came to power, religious symbols in churches should be removed and replaced by swastikas, a copy of Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" (My Struggle) and swords symbolizing German invincibility. Hitler adopted the views of Rosenberg but, thinking it would cause too much of a reaction among the people, he did not put this new theory of German religion into effect. [1]Nazis were neo-pagans who sought to destroy the Judeo-Christian ethics and convert the German society to pagan barbarism. Nevertheless, during the Nazi regime, some important practices of Neo-Paganism were instituted. Shortly after Hitler came to power, the holy days and feasts of Christianity began to be suppressed and replaced by the holy days of pagan religions. At weddings, oaths were sworn to such imaginary gods as "Mother Earth" and "Father Sky". In 1935, students in schools were forbidden to say Christian prayers and later, lessons with any Christian content were completely discontinued.Hitler once revealed his attitude toward Christianity when he bluntly stated that religion is an:…organized lie [that] must be smashed. The State must remain the absolute master. When I was younger, I thought it was necessary to set about [destroying religion] …with dynamite. I've since realized there's room for a little subtlety …. The final state must be … in St. Peter's Chair, a senile officiant; facing him a few sinister old women… The young and healthy are on our side … Our peoples had previously succeeded in living all right without this religion. I have six divisions of SS men absolutely indifferent in matters of religion. It doesn't prevent them from going to their death with serenity in their souls. [2]As we can see, Hitler saw only one idea as having importance in the spiritual realm: the idea that would lead people to "go to their death with serenity in their souls". He found it in abundance in such pagan concepts as "the German spirit" and "honor in battle". He saw monotheistic religions as beliefs that must be "destroyed with dynamite" but, for political reasons, he acted more moderately. The Nazi hatred for Jews was a part of this anti-Theistic ideology. Nazis who hated Christianity saw it as a "Jewish plot." That Jesus Christ, a prophet of Israeli origin, should be loved and revered by Germans, who regarded themselves as the "master race", was for them unthinkable. For the Nazis, it was not a prophet of Israeli origin that would be a guide for Germans, but the barbarous and cruel warriors of pagan German culture. So, this is the real truth about Nazism and antisemitism in general. Today, the leaders of antisemitism are various Neo-Nazi and Fascist groups. If we look at them, we see immediately that every one of them has an anti-religious ideology and what they say is based on pagan ideas.Antisemitism And Every Kind Of Racism Is Contrary To IslamFrom the facts that we have examined so far, the following is clear: Antisemitism is an anti-religion ideology that has its roots in Neo-Paganism. Therefore, it is unthinkable that a Muslim would espouse antisemitism or feel sympathy for this ideology. Anti-Semites have no respect for Abraham, Moses or David who were blessed prophets chosen by God to be examples for humanity.Antisemitism and other kinds of racism (eg. prejudice against Blacks) have no place in true religion; they are perversions arising from various ideologies and superstitions.Furthermore, when we examine antisemitism and other forms of racism, we see clearly that they promote ideas and a model of society that is totally contrary to the moral teachings of the Qur'an, For example, at the root of antisemitism lie hatred, violence, and lack of compassion. An anti-Semite may be so cruel as to support the murder of Jewish people without distinguishing between women, children and the aged, and condone their being subjected to torture. However, the moral teaching of the Qur'an enjoins love, compassion and mercy for all people. It also commands Muslims to show justice and be forgiving even to their enemies.According to the Qur'an, Muslims, Jews and Christians Must Live in FriendshipJews and Christians (called in the Qur'an the "people of the book") are much closer to Muslims than idolaters (pagans or the atheists). The people of the book, like Muslims, believe in one God and are subject to His commands. In the Qur'an, there is a significant difference between the people of the book and the idolaters. This is especially emphasized in the area of social life. For example, it is said concerning the idolaters: "(they) are unclean, so after this year they should not come near the Masjid al-Haram." (Surat at-Tawba: 28) Idolaters are people who know no divine law, have no moral precepts and who can commit every kind of degrading and perverse deed without hesitation. But the people of the book, while they rely basically on God's revelation, have moral precepts and know what is lawful and what is not. For this reason, if one of the people of the book cooks some food, it is lawful for Muslims to eat it. In the same way, permission has been given to a Muslim man to marry a woman from among the people of the book. On this subject God commands: Today all good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those given the Book is also lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. So are chaste women from among the believers and chaste women of those given the Book before you, once you have given them their dowries in marriage, not in fornication or taking them as lovers. But as for anyone who disbelieve, his actions will come to nothing and in the hereafter he will be among the losers. (Surat al-Mai'da: 5)These commands show that bonds of kinship may be established as a result of the marriage of a Muslim with a woman from the people of the book and that those on each side of the union can accept an invitation to a meal. These are the fundamentals that will ensure the establishment of equitable human relationships and a happy communal life. Since the Qur'an enjoins this equitable and tolerant attitude, it is unthinkable that a Muslim could take an opposing view.Monasteries, Churches And Synagogues Must Be Respected Temples that deserve respect: A church... Another important fact we learn from the Qur'an is that Muslims must respect Jewish and Christian places of worship. In the Qur'an, the places of worship of the people of the book, ie. monasteries, churches and synagogues, are mentioned as places of worship protected by God."…if God had not driven some people back by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where God's name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. God will certainly help those who help Him - God is All-Strong, Almighty." (Surat al-Hajj: 40 )This verse shows to every Muslim the importance of respecting and protecting the holy places of the people of the book. ... and a synagouge. Indeed, in the Qur'an, God commands Muslims not to harbor any enmity toward any people. In many verses, friendship is recommended even with the idolaters. God even refers to the idolaters at war with Muslims like this: "If any of the idolaters ask you for protection, give them protection until they have heard the words of God. Then convey them to a place where they are safe." (Surat at-Tawba: 6)Jews and Christians, however, are much closer to Muslims than idolaters. Each of these religions has its book, that is, they are subject to a book sent down by God. They know what is right and what is wrong, what is lawful and what is unlawful. They know they will give an account to God and they love and revere His prophets. This shows that Muslims and the people of the book can live easily together.ConclusionIn a Muslim's outlook on the world, one of his basic criteria is justice. No matter whom he may oppose, he cannot depart from justice. He acts not according to his feelings, but with his reason and conscience. He removes himself from fanaticism and bigotry, and makes his decisions according to wisdom. What God teaches us in the Qur'an about different peoples and creeds is clear:1. The morality of the Qur'an excludes every kind of racism.2. It is commanded in the Qur'an that, so long as they show no hostility to Islam or Muslims, a tolerant and friendly attitude must be maintained toward other religions. Our wish is that a world will be established in which people will be able to live together in peace no matter to what race or religion they belong, in which every racist perversion will be rejected, everyone's rights will be regarded and everyone will be respected. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Notes 1- Michael Howard, The Occult Conspiracy: The Secret History of Mystics, Templars, Masons and Occult Societies, 1.b., London: Rider, 1989, p. 130 2- Hitler, A., Hitler's Secret Conversations 1941-1944, With an introductory essay on The Mind of Adolf Hitler by H.R. Why The President Of Iran Got It Wrong?

By: Maged Taman

The president of Iran is a devout Muslim and he believes much in the coming of El Mahdi. He tries to run his countries on the concepts of humanity, justice and the common good. He is however missing the point that if there is Al Mahdi he would be very likely to be a political leader. He is very likely to prepare the earth for Jesus second coming. He is very likely to fill the earth with peace and not to destroy it. He is very likely to have all people regardless of thier religions to get rightous and good humans. For any leader to be that capable he has not to be agressive any nuclear war would end our world. He will work to prevent Armagdon and not to make it. He is very likely to be friendly to Israel like any other nation. If God to send Jesus today he would be in a jail somewhere in the world. Corruption, tyranny and oppression are widespread. We have to play very reasonable and responsible geopolitics. God is the one who makes prophecies not us. Many times people do good or bad things and they trurn to be a prophecy or an old vision. I like the enthusiasm of the Iran president but we have to understand that Islam can conquer the world with its message not its troops.
